Ten weird things I do that nobody else does...

I am sure it will keep me busy if I ever do. Yes, that was the plan.

The other strange thing I engage in, is I have a collection of 50,000+ DVD's of recorded tv from the last 14 years along with VCR tapes from the 5 years previous to that. At one point I had 8 devices recording at the same time, but currently I am down to only one, until it dies, and then I guess I will stop.

What were those 8 devices set to record? Shows you like or random stuff? Are you just a quirky techie guy, a hoarder, or a mad scientist?

I find your combination of mashed potatoes, gravy, and cottage cheese fascinating. At first I only read "cheese" so I thought "oh so like a Polish poutine basically", but cottage cheese.. what kind of cottage cheese?

Primetime shows M-F on about 7 different channels, some news. I think that others would identify me as a hoarder.

Standard small curd white cottage cheese, preferably not all dried out.

I have trouble understanding what sort of cheese that is, probably because Polish cottage cheese varieties can be so different from what is known as cottage cheese in North America. So I can sort of imagine the type of cheese you mean, but I have no idea if I'm right or not.

American Cottage Cheese

At least that is what google brings up when I type in cottage cheese.

I am not sure if the manufacturing process is different in other locations around the world.
I don't think it is imitation cheese, but who knows??

I prefer that there is a substantial amount of "milky" liquid in the cottage cheese. I guess I would not make kosher very well. although we only have meatloaf or Swedish meatballs, other than a lot of chicken.

I like mushroom soup which mixes well with the cottage cheese. I mix it in with fettuccini chicken alfredo. I also put it on lasagna, because we usually make it homemade and with only shredded cheddar instead of the normal lasagna cheeses.

#1, in the north of Sweden there is a dying tradition of drinking your coffee through a sugar cube that you hold between your teeth. The tradition has probably declined because of the general knowledge that lots of sugar produces cavities. Up until the seventies, complete dentures were an usual present at the time of highschool graduation.
