.I have a lot of experience in the late middle and early industrial ages. This is where I wind up winning my games (either by domination or by culture). Right now, we have a bunch of cities ripe for culture. We still need to press on into France, Portugal, China (what's left of them), and perhaps Persia.

For the curious: no, I had no intention of even trying to beat Chieftess (mainly because I know I can't 
).
It's just disappoints me when the highest office in the land can't field more than one candidate. It also happened to be the start of summer, which meant that I had spare time for Vice-Presidenting if the future madame President will have me in that function.
Now, if I had campaign promises, they'd be the usual DPing ability claims, promises to follow the will of the people, pointings to prior experience and what not. I'd only add that I'd make an attempt at garnering some more interest and participation in this game.

You know, at times it's just uncanny how this game can mirror the goings-on in the United States. Since we are spreading our culture via war this game, then we are certainly selecting the right candidate for that goal. 
A word of advice to the Term 4 military ministers: when the time comes, make sure to formulate a clear exit strategy and get a clear referendum from the people when doing so. Otherwise, this one will keep on fightin' long after you can say "Mission Accomplished!"
