I sent it to 2 clams and Pigs spot in NW corner of landmasses. Have you a strong opinion against that spot? If not I settle in next turn.

I recommend that we adopt Nationhood and Theocracy as Nationalism is researched. With Nationhood we could draft Maceman every second turn in capital. There is GT so no unhappiness occurs. What do you think?

I disagree, soon we should have gunpowder at which point drafting would be giving us muskets (not especially usefull imo). I think we should stick with organzied religion and instead switch to vassalage. We can still be whipping maces pretty much every other turn but dont lose the benefit of religion in outlying cities.

We are not in Organized Religion. I wouldn't want to waste turn in anarchy just to adopt one civic.

There is several benefits in Nationhood. Nationhood has no civic upkeep. Our civic upkeep would go down 6 pt. Plus every Barracks gives +2 happy faces. Effectively solving happiness problem.

We can use all the cities for drafting with Aloha the main spot well before we get gunpowder. Vassalage we just cost us money for a benefit we are a long way from using.

6 of the 9 cities we have are with a religion. Religion spread has been fast so far. In Theocracy we wouldn't have to fear foreign religion spread to us. Epsilon/Piffle/Innovia are all in Theocracy. I think we should follow their desicion.

Another point for Nationhood. We can draft defenders in a pinch. Never know when Epsilon/piffle land troops to our shores.

Well if they do land troops you would have at least a one turn warning since our cultural borders are so far out to see. They cant do the civ3 trick of landing then declaring. I think that nationhood really isnt necessary until the turn before you need it.

also religion only spreads through a non missionary to cities that dont have a religion. How many key cities do we have without a religion?
