Set him to AI, Grant has effectively acting as a Vassal for Irgy and I throughout the game so i'm not surprised that he left it, especially considering the poor land he had to work with. I'm not going to go with whoever suggested the ridiculously stupid idea that I give the AI ten turns to build up an army.

Classical Hero has been logged into the game for several hours now and seems to be blocking me from being able to log in. Please can someone pause the game... I'm off to bed and won't be able to try again for at least 8-9 hours. Should hopefully be able to unpause it myself as I don't believe I should have any diplo screens.

OK, no need to pause the game....I am home now. However, I am not making much progress with LP trying to login every 5 minutes.
What's going on, LP? What can I do to make things easier for you? I'll need all of the 17 minutes I have left, but can pause if you need some extra time if we can't login together for whatever reason.

Sorry about that, we worked it out.
Talk about a run of bad luck... the internet connection is near-useless where I am this weekend, and I was trying to log in multiple times yesterday. I keep failing to load the game due to the connection cutting out. The last attempt finally succeed... but I didn't realise this until 4.5 hours later because I fell asleep as the game was loading. The connection somehow managed to maintain itself over those 4.5 hours (I have no idea how), but when I woke up I assumed it had crashed because it wasn't doing anything. As it turns out Donovan had happened to log in at the exact moment I woke up, so the game was locked for a few minutes. Then it took several more attempts to log in again (no doubt pissing off Donovan with repeated attempts to connect). Argh! Ah well, it happens I guess.

Yet it would have been rude of me not to respond to your generous offer. 
I can't even connect to the game now, although it does get halfway through the loading process. I'd say the problem is at my end, but I got into two other games without incident. Dave, can you check this out?

I need it to be unpaused.
Apparently it was unpaused, but LP still hasn't finished so I put it back on pause a little longer.
Note: If you have an unusually hard time getting into the game or slow response that can't be explained by a difference in the connection on your end, it could be a problem on my end. Please PM if that happens. Pitboss was going wild on me and had transferred 250GB this month, most of it apparently to nowhere.
