TETurkhan Test of Time (Map & Mod)

I would offer to help but the only thing I can do with any degree of skill is playtest, I wish I could work out how to make still graphics with Photoshop but they never work :(. I offor whatever help I can though, I dont know whether to add you or not though as I cant help much...
 
  1. Installed Civ Complete on Mac via Parallels but it doesn't seem to be stable. I decided to install it on my Desktop and am now adding all Mod files (I really need to make a backup of the mod!).
  2. Registered teturkhan.com where I hope to feature the mod when complete.
  3. I appreciate everyone offering to help. Right now I need someone to get a help wanted sign posted. Form a list of people who are interested in helping and the areas they can assist. The list should be posted - not sure where - maybe here? (all people should include an email address OR if you don't want to make it public just email me)
  4. My MSN Messenger is so congested and it is very difficult for me to know who is offering to help unless you specifically message me or email me indicating so. If you want to be certain then email me at tettot@gmail.com subject line: "Help" OR better yet just make sure you are on the list of people offering to help because I will add all those to my contact list.

I've been reading these forums for a couple of years now & just decided to register. I wanted to use my 1st post to say thanks for such a great map & scenario. I appreciate all the time & work you've put into it. I've spent hundreds of hours playing Test of Time & it's almost the only way I play Civ. Well done!
 
Now that your using a Mac Tet... it would be nice if you could find somebody to port the mod from a .exe install to a Mac installer... just a thought... but you have all this help pouring out of the woodwork now :) But I am glad you've come over to the light :) i too use a 20in iMac duo core 2. Glad to see your still with us.

Not to sound overly sarcastic, but hundreds of hours is more like 1 or 2 games... My first game was something like 400 hours even after I used the airlift bug exploit to finish it about 20 turns early.

But, welcome to CFC! :)
 
I had 3 people in total contact me offering to help - and wanted to say thanks!

I actually budgeted 2 hours a day starting on Monday to work on the mod. Not sure how fast things will progress but at least it will eventually inch its way to completion. Important thing is I am back and I am working on Civ again. I will try to post an update every month to let people know what is going on. As for the people who emailed me I will get you authorized to the private forums for the mod this week.
