To be fair, we have to realize that not everyone is going to get their top, preferred class.
The only two I haven't really played that much (at all really) are medic and spy. Sniper, Heavy and Soldier (in that order) are my preferred, but I'll do whatever.

RED CAPTAIN (Medic): Merciary
BLU CAPTAIN (MEDIC): Dreadnought.
Medics are the most integral part of the Highlander Team. Thusly, it is important that both of these classes have... A: Experience in the class...
B: Have a microphone for enhanced communication.
So with that decided, we can fill in the rest of the roles. Power roles such as Soldiers, heavies, demomans, and scouts should be filled first according to skill level. Engineer should than be picked. The spies, sniper, and the pyros, support roles, should be picked last.
Server can easily be set up through TF2 lobby.com. I think.

To be honest, I suck at pretty much everything. But, of course, my preferences can vary depending on the map being played...
I mostly play Sniper (10hours at Sniper) Followed by Spy (1h) and then, Engi is not bad, but I suck when something more than strategically locating turrets must be done.

Same here though. I feel as if I'm competent at it. So only experienced medic here is Dread? Whichever team that gets Dread will then have a huge advantage over the enemy team if he is paired with a good demo/heavy.
Speaking of which, I think it would be best I people posted their hours clocked for their best class.

I have 10 hours as a Sniper, just under 3 as a Heavy and about 1.5 for both soldier and engineer. Everything else is under 20 minutes...
(yeah, not much, but considering I just started playing this game at the beginning of this thread, not too bad for this married father of three.

How does one get listed there? I logged in through Steam on the site, but it doesn't seem to pull any info over. Does it just take a while to update?
Me too, but it doesn't find me. 
(might be because I have only been playing for a month or so.)
EDIT: Figured out my Steam ID number and used that in the search... it found me.

I've got 2:20 hours as heavy under my belt. Other classes I have played are under 10 minutes and only cause my team lacked those in those sessions.

When you, as medic, escort a heavy that is drawing fire to himself by laying suppressing fire please don't abandon him...
