TF2 (split from screenshots thread)

i'm still saying it's cause pubmedics are bad and mostly stick to one dumb heavy
there is simply no excuse for a medic to be not on top

that's why i almost never go medic on public servers, either you only got incompetent poeple to heal, and you're better off being a combat class anyway, or when you are doing good, some ****** will go medic as well, and mostly go stick his ass onto the topfragger (which is usually then my kritzz/uber target) causing me to build slower charge and get in the way in general, and then the dumb :):):):) can't heal or uber me when it's needed. It's like they don't understand the concept of overheals either. so i just don't bother anymore
 
Played this game quite a bit when it first came out, then drifted off to other things (CoD mostly), but really liked it a lot when it first came out. Seeing this thread makes me think about coming back. I left prior to the class unlocks being patched. How rough would it be for me to join back in? I am an experienced FPS player and actually do quite well for being an old fart. Advice?
 
You have a long ways to go MobBoss ;). Just don't go into RAGE mode when you get killed 20 times. ;)

go scout or sniper. hitscan classes for poeple who play fps'es for quite a while. if you wanna go practice projectile classes like soldier or demo, try ammomod: 67.212.189.186:27093 and 67.202.71.165:27015. add me to friends if you wanna try it out vs me:

Well, I played a bit tonight, and managed to get 4 achievements for the sniper, a hat drop, and the camera beard thingy. Was fun.

What servers do you guys play on? Any in particular? Played mostly on the -Q- server out of Seattle since the ping was so low.
 
I play on pub servers and go with the ones with lowest ping and most people. Its a simple matter to find another server if your first pick is crappy.

You son of a bloody gun, I still have not found ANY new hats except that bloody halo and Bill's Hat (which is freaking sweet).

I play on a couple of 32 player fast respawn servers, which may or may not be your thing. I like the CnB servers because of some of the regulars and my fellow CnB members and I despise respawn times over 10 seconds :p

Heh, just played a bit more and ended up with an axetinguisher although I wasnt playing a pyro....go figure.
 
I run a server called hsr, but it's not your guys cup of tea i guess
24 slot with votecrit and normal respawn times. else i dont go to public servers anymore, too boring.

I do a lot of ammomod though

I crafted the stash today after wasting 4 hats trying to get it. SO WORTH IT.
i got all medic hats and the stash now; i don't need anything else

I had 3 Stashs at one point. I crafted one with a bald engi to get a Glengary Bonnet.

You'll sometimes find me playing on the CnB servers, eather TmC or Fast Spawn, occasionally I play on the Control Point servers.

What's the server ip and where's it located?

I'd like a middle ground between competitive play and our 32 man default respawn server.
