Thank you.

I would probably say that the game is great if it didnt have so many bugs that I cant even play it. Im rather disappointed and will thank them once I can actually play it! :( (I dont blame Sid at all for such problems)

Who needs sleep? If ya need me I am glued to my computer!!!!!!

And I used teh WHOLE tube of superglue!!!!!!!!!

BEST

GAME

EVER

(for me at least)

After playing 3 full games at increasing difficulty levels (to noble only  )
i must say i have never played such a great game. I enjoyed Civ2 and Civ3, but always felt it got bogged down after gunpowder. It has not felt like that with this game.

Features that stand out being great:
- units speaking their native language (a brilliant finishing touch)
- diplomacy (so much fairer!)
- combat (much more strategy, and tactics)
- 3D globe view

Some issues
- difficult to locate specific units, e.g. workers
- military advisor is practical useless (ties with above point)

Overall, the atmosphere and strategy is second to none. :D

With apologies to Barenaked Ladies..

"Who needs sleep? No you're never gonna get it.."
"Who needs sleep? Tell me what's it for..."
"Who needs sleep? That's something you're not gettin'.."
"Since you attacked Caesar starting the second world war..."

It's an outstanding game. Playing a random game I was teamed up as Alexander against Catherina and Isabella a.o. After swiping clean my home continent went for a conquest victory, kicking off Cat and Isa from their continent.
Like the new combat mechanism the most, together with the lack of needing to spawn lots of cities. Couldn't believe that in the end I only built 11 cities in the entire game
Definitely very addictive and puts the prequels definitely in its shadow IMO. So a big :goodjob: for everybody involved in creating this masterpiece.

Edit: I *did* lose a tank against an axeman, somewhat surprised there ;) but OK, my tank was kinda wounded.

It's not one single thing, it's an accumulation of little things -together- that make this game great. "The whole is more than the sum of its parts." :goodjob:

/signed and *bump*

Bump x10,000,000,000,000

This game is gonna cause me to be so anti-social...:D

I'm in trouble for not doing some things I promised my GF I would do because I was playing Civ4 all day. Now I'm in trouble so I don't know if a thank you is in order but damn, do I love this game.

not perfect , sorry . mp is not .

This game had alot of hype behind it, the kind of hype that is very hard to deliver on, however Civ4 has done this with absolute grace! An amazing game, that (imho) deserves the great reviews its getting all across the board.

Just today, my girlfriend called me from work wanting to know if I felt like going out for dinner later on when she was done her shift. I said "Sure!" so we agreed that at 6pm (when she was done) I would start walking towards her work, and she would walk towards home and we would meet roughly halfway, conviently close to our restaurant of choice. Well, lets just say that she walked in the door at about 6:30, "What are you still doing here?" lol, she understands though, we had a good laugh about it, and a tasty meal to boot!

Oh Feeroper, I feel that. My girlfriend is understanding too though :D. I love the game. I absolutely give it 10/10 and I don't just give those out. Admittingly, it is buggy and has some flaws here and there but I have no doubt that they will work hard on patching it and removing all those bugs! Absolutely 10/10. Best one yet, and I will be playing for years to come.

So wait there are people who have zero problems playing?
I would have sworn this was sarcasim...

*eyes O.P.*
