Okay, so something else I came up with.

Factions

Spoiler :
Each player only gets the option to perform one night ability (besides sleeping and meditating), and there are many small teams that consist of each specialist. There are also "freelancers" that can choose to work for different teams for incentives.... maybe credits or knowledge?


Also added in a new GM position.

I'm not sure about Factions, this is the Sith Acadamy every man for himself.

And I have an idea. What about a quest system something like in KOTOR where you could find artifacts to impress the master, I may think on this and give a more detailed suggestion later.
 
Here is a more detailed example of how the quest system could work. In the Afternoon update the Master would post a quest IE. I want the Sword of Ajunta Pall. The student who provides me with it will be greatly rewarded. Now a student would give the order to search for the sword at the sacrifice of training the student would PM the GM saying that they want to search. The GM would respond with a list of challenges the player must overcome.

Example:

(You exit the Academy, the first things you come by are a flock of Shyrack.)

(You continue walking to the Valley you soon see Ajunta Pall’s tomb upon entrance you encounter a pack of Tuk’ata.)

(Continuing on you walk across a bridge, and finally arrive at the sarcophagus. You attempt to open it but it is locked.)

(You retrieve the blade and hurry out of the tomb, unfortunately droids activate and start firing at you.)


The student would reply to this and give there actions for each event.

Example:

(You exit the Academy, the first things you come by are a flock of Shyrack.) I attack the Shyrack.

Some of this should be familiar to players of KOTOR. If the player succeeds the update would read, one of the students ventured into the valley and successfully retrieved Ajunta Pall’s Sword. There could also be a Knowledge ability in which a student could gain knowledge of a player going to retrieve a artifact and could try and intercept the other player of the other player is successful they will duel and the victor will take the artifact and present it to the master for prestige.
 
I need to be a species.

There are so many species involved that would be a huge pain in the butt to do
 
It would be cool... What basis would human get, as an example?
 
Quick subscription post. When would this be starting? Seeing as how I missed the first one :( I would definitely be up for the next one.

Alright, it's been a week. Let's look at this. I've separated the suggestions into two separate sections, ones that I will include in the game no matter what, and ones that will be voted on.

In No Matter What
  • Vengeance: scale of 1 - 5
  • Stealth: scale of 1 - 5
  • Multiple GMs
  • Give predetermined changes in prestige for specific actions (i.e. losing a duel will always make you lose x amount of prestige)
  • Same as above, but with fatigue
  • Stamina's effect on battles lessened
To Be Voted On
  • Lightsaber Forms [DarthCaesar]
  • Make all player names required to be either a pun, or a double entendre, or both [kill fire]
  • Make character cards public - would render the Messenger obsolete
  • Make orders public
  • Automate character cards at beginning (i.e. you don't pick what stats you want, I assign each player a prefabricated card)
  • Redesign Challenge system
  • Redesign Learning stat
  • What species your character is affects your player's in game performance
  • Make prestige public
  • Characters required to be from Star Wars universe
  • Different setting (i.e. players are Stormtroopers or Jedi instead of Sith)
  • Give more options for night actions
  • Assign weaknesses/abilities randomly
