Ahhh! I will download those other files forthwith! Thanks for the help. I will let you know hopefully of my successful progress!

*phew*

:-)

Finally!

By the way, this is how ALL mods are to be installed... They have at least one .BIX file that goes into the SCENARIOS folder and a folder that goes in there too.

Well, have fun! If you have any comments, feel free to post them. I'm currently working on a C3C version, so this is the perfect time to suggest new stuff. ;-)

phew*

I know what you mean! I was strting to despair. I did not think I was such an idiot that I could not get a Mod to work when it seemed so easy! Your help was great! I will play for a few days and then voice my suggestions for the next update. Those archers in the Barbarian camps took me by surprise! I lost 3 units - 2 warriors and an archer before I learned caution!

hi are you going to make a C3C version of this mod?

have you though about making a medium size map because I find that the AI turns lasts for ever in the large map.

oh and I love  this mod its great. It could be improved by adding animated leader heads, if that wouldn't be too much trouble.

Yes, have a smaller map. Crete should only have two cities an gotland should only be a dot. All ancient cities where rather small, only Rome was above 1 million people. All the small cities in sicily could be seen as three 10persons cities or you built 6 cities that are not bigger than 4 size.

And since the ancient period ends with the roman empire the map could cover only the border of the roman empire as it largest expansion and you may think of it as the roman did a complete conquest in the scenario/mod...

With sacrifice it would be good to have more expensive workers (2 pop) since then you do not sacrifice all workers.

I really like that it is different unitgraphics depending on civ for the same unit!!!

The Fertile Crescent map is normal sized, and that's the one I usually play.

oh sorry that I wasn't clear I mean centered on Rome, I just love those Roman conquest type of scenarios

I know there are new forums, but i gonna post here, because i'm not registered in the other service.

Well juts to say that i wasn't able to play this mod despote your fix :

Fix 5 v2.1 (0.4 MB) 2003-12-31
Note: Fix 5 undoes fix 4, but makes the game playable again. Expect another version that works soon.
This fix removes the "icon_bldg_bible not found" error message and lets you play the game

I still have that message comming on, i'm using PTW 1.27f

Thanks to help

Hello again Thamis! I love the Mod! I have had an unexpected error that never occurred before though. I can start the mod and it worked fine until last night...

I was playing as the Romans in like 990 BC. Had a thriving culture when the game quit back to the desktop. I restarted with the autosave but at that exact timeframe it quit back to desktop.

The only things I changed were the amount of turns, victory points needed, and some of the options such as excellerated production. Would any of this effect play? Maybe it was a fluke but thought you may have some insights. Since it is not a loading problem with the mod I do not believe I need the recent fix but I could be wrong...

This isn't a bug in the mod, its your computer thats too slow. It usually happens to me too when I play on large or huge maps with many civs.

Really? I have a 2.4 ghz Pentium 4. I would think that plenty fast! I was only using 21 Civ's. Very peculiar. I will try less Civ's and see what happens. Thanks for the info though!!

I may have been wrong in say "slow", its probably the lack of memory. Im not sure though.

That could be, I only have 256 MB Ram. Perhaps that is the issue. Any Idea how many Civ's I can use so it will not Zap out on me gain??

This error is unrelated to the MOD, it sometimes happens in normal CIV too. It must be related to either some "wrong move" that the AI makes or to some memory problem. I managed to go by this error by loading the last autosave and then doing everything totally differently. The computer will calculate different moves and maybe the error won't occur again.
