Belldandy, of Oh! My Goddess... Excellent choice.

I heard they're going to come up with an anime series for it, a while back; what with the success of Taiho Shichauzo (You're Under Arrest!), by same author. Not sure what happened...

Yasha means demon. Inuyasha is really a dog-demon - dad being a huge (canine?) demon fr the 'East Country', while mom is human.

I got the manga series up to the latest vol 28. But it's getting rather boring lately...

If you talk about the 5 episodes anime serie, it's been out for a LONG while

There was also one or two animated movies about it.

I LOVE this anime, and the manga is also great (though a bit too light tempered, the relationship between Belldandy and Keiichi is lacking a bit of substance, that's why I prefer the anime).

5 OVA episodes and 1 movie. Also a series of short episodes (about 10 mins each) themed around the 'little goddesses'.

I got the manga too, for Aa! Megami-sama, up till vol 25... Call me a fanatic...

Yes, the AMG-crowd is actually divided into the Urd-fans and the Belldandy-fans

Urd is more sensual, and more "humane".
Belldandy is a bit too naive and can be irritating as she's ALWAYS finding excuses to everyone and everything.

But Urd is a bit too immature for my tastes, and more than that, Belldandy has the romantic side I really look for. And above all, I'm pretty sure she's a lefty

OMG is a great manga, perfect art but the anime is even better, but too short

@KD Rumiko is a genius, just need to read Ranma 1/2 manga, is far better than the anime IMO.

"Serial Experiment Lain". Rewarding.

"Ghost in the Shell" was also very good.
"Jin Roh".
"Metropolis"/"Robotic Angel".

"Perfect Blue" was good, but not as good as the above.

Never really understood why people want all this sexual content in mangas/animes. The ones I like mostly do not contain this, except to prove some point (Ghost in the Shell).

Now that you mention Lain, I got a CD full with pics of Lain's eyes, I really like the way the eyes are drawn.

btw, strange nobody has mentioned Lodoss War, both seasons are very good.

Lodoss war is good, but there are many better animes out there. What do you mean by seasons? as far as I know there are 2 series, a 13 episode TV-series and a 27 part OVA, at least those are the two I have.
Basically the 27 Episodes of the OVA describe the same events as the episodes 7-13 of the TV-series

Yuka is my favourite fighter though.

I'm in the Skuld-camp.

I find Belldandy unbelievable. Yeah, she's a goddess and all that but she's still too perfect.

Urd is funny. But Skuld rules.
