Her name was based on Verdandi, one of three Goddesses of Fate of Nordic lore (or something) - the other two being the basis for Urd and Skuld...
But in the story, they're simply presented as goddesses of a special agency of heaven called the Goddess Help Office or something. Nice touch there... religious bureaucrats.
I know you all no doubt hate Pokemon,
but do you know that the team rocket chick, Jesse, was voted the sexiest anime female ever, by a New Zealand website?
Judge for youself! (she is the one in the middle!)

Considering I'm the only American regularly posting in the thread, this doesn't mean much to you Europeans and the rest. Well...I guess you'll just have to do your own search. I've already found the theatre, the address, the time...

Yup. And I have no idea when "Knocking On Heaven's Door" is coming out in Europe.

Well, to be honest, I never knew where you were from until just now Zcylen. I had some weird assumption that you were from Spain, but I don't know where that came from. But now I see you're from Mexico. I'll make a mental note of that.
Bah! If I wanted to see it, I'd have to drive to Chicago... The series was pretty good, but I geuss I'll be waiting for the video store to get a copy of the movie.
They actually have an anime club around here, but I've never been to any of their meetings. Partly, that's because they meet at 6 on Friday, and partly because they're always showing things I've never heard of. Oh well..
Don't let that discourage you! I find most of the anime that's good is unheard of in the US.
Ooh there is an anime my friends reccomeded is on no. UU-Husahko, or something like that.
So far, it looks bad.
EDIT: I shouldn't have had such high hopes for this anime. It comes from my friend who loves DragonBall Z and only likes Cowboy Bebop. It seems like typical American-popular anime - weird, bad, plot, totally revolves around fighting. It feels like I'm watching a videogame - they take turns doing moves, and they even label the move on the screen when they do it! Its like a non-interavtive RPG...
Mexicans speaks spanish. That must be the link you mentally made

Ok, in that case, I'll list the schedule for their anime marathon that's coming up. I was thinking of going- it is free after all.
Violinist of Hamelin Movie
Kogepan
Geobreeders: Breakthrough
Roujin Z
Gestalt
Does anyone know anything about these? Are they any good?
