I don't believe so. I tried the same thing with the original unedited Justinian nonshader and got the same result.
Ah, thank you Capo. Finally someone who wants to take some time for this. At least the LH is using alexanders animations (and also shader files I think). In the nif the name Trudeau appears quite often. Without checking the colonization and homebrew LHs I guess Trudeau was another LH based on Alex which then has been turned into Firefly by cfkane and then into Nagy by me. As I have to wait for another request I made anyways it's not a problem for me to wait for this a bit, even if it takes you two weeks.
Capo,
Did you ever find what caused the cracking like I saw in that Adolf hitler LH? I think it might not have been the LH but Blender 2.48 which I've been trying to use. I just made a new LH and I was getting the same afect![]()
So basically you are saying if I stick to the old version (2.43) I should have no problems using the existing Hitlers out there to make a quality Hitler?
I think I am going to wind up making around 15 leaderheads for the next version of my mod. So there will be a huge update to this gallery and then after that I'll go back to regular LH making and take a break from other modding because its so much damn work and I really liked making LHs.
He is very willing to help out on this issue, so if anyone can come up with anything, please join the discussion here so that we can use the new scripts without problems. The both of us have been trying things out, but we are sort of drawing blanks right now.You must realize that I'm not modding at all myself for Civ4. However, with enough information I can fix bugs, and I've surely done so in the past for some Civ4 issues as the changelog will reveal. Hence, if you spot problems with blender import/export being discussed at other forums, don't be shy to post a link to those threads here - if we don't know about it then obviously nothing will get fixed either. Of course you're also welcome to post bug reports on the tracker, or here on the forum.
Anyway, the 2.x.x series is based on a completely different library for processing with nif files - it was a huge pain at the start but most things have been resolved by 2.1.x (it took one month with lot's of testing and releasing). Frankly, we haven't had many people reporting on the status of things for Civ4, but as I said a few reports have come in and for some things (and I'd hope for everything some day!) the latest version should definitely go better than the old 1.5.7 version.
