The Capo's LH Gallery and Self-Help Thread!

How ironic would it be if you were working on your Hitler LH?

Mazel Tov!
It's MazAl tov!!! I just hate Yiddish- the language that ruined both German and Hebrew.

And about the staff: The staff is part of the base LH, so I assume it already has animation for it, I just don't know what that animation is, so it may not make sense with Solomon.

I also checked the animations for Agueybana and none of them involves the stick. Weird. I did use it to create Nzinga's spear.

And, yes, Hanukkah began this evening. The most fattening holiday in the world!

I decided last year to quit and so far I'm holding on... Just eight more days...

Hanukkah is the Festival of Lights... one day of presents? HELL NO! We got eight crazy nights...

Crazy?! It is a Jewish holiday, you know... I don't think that lighting candles on the Hannukia (notice: Hannukia, NOT Menorah) and getting fat from berliners is not that crazy. The only crazy Jewish holiday is Purim!

He was quoting Adam Sandler there Igor, its from the Hannukah song. And as lame as it sounds I had to look up Mazal/Mazel tov and it was spelled Mazel where I found it. Anyway, let's not get off track here, Solomon wasn't made because it was Hannukah, I didn't even know it was Hannukah, does anyone have any good suggestions about how his clothing looks or what colors it should be?

One other suggestion I do have is to not reskin Darius' clothing to be too colorful. I myself would think of just making it plain white with some gold embellishment, though I would not be sure how historically accurate that would be.

While the Hanukkah connection is interesting, I think it's also nice to note that the original Solomon was one of your first leaderheads, and it's now the first successful entry from the new batch. He looks good by the way.

FINAL-:):):):)ING-LY! Solomon did the trick! Once I get him reskinned (he needs it), and fix that weird crown texture issue I'll release him.

looking very good. don't release him without shaders.

EDIT: by the way i figured out how to get sitting bulls lighting. just copy over all the light bulbs and get rid of the old ones is the easiest way. (you could just take the ambient light but just getting all of them is easier)

It was his fifth, if I remember correctly. Actually, from all of The Capo's LHs the one I would like to see improved is Gustav Adolph. I will definitely add shaders to him, but there are a few other small problems that should be fixed.

Here's an in-game preview of Solomon. I intend on reskinning his crown but I'm a little at a loss for an idea here, if anybody had some suggestions on what its texture should be that would be helpful. Also what does everyone think of the skinning on the clothing?

I plan on moving the LH up a bit so there isn't as much space above his head, any suggestions and comments would be appreciated. I want to release him in the next couple of days so the sooner the better on ideas.

EDIT: I added another image, I moved the BG a bit so you could see the ark of the covenant and the Menorah better, and I moved the camera out a bit.

EDIT 2: I'm not really sure if this has shaders or not, in NifSkope all of the shader textures or whatever are present, so I think it does but I can't really tell because I don't have anything to compare it to. So if you notice it doesn't let me know. After I reskin the crown I'll release him.

It looks like his head has a weird curvature. Could you maybe change it a bit so it's clearer that this is not the case?

I don't quite get your meaning here, can you be a bit more specific? I didn't alter his head at all by the way, I just added peter's hair and darius' beard.

EDIT: I have a correction, I did change the shape of his nose, but that wouldn't really cause any curvature in his head, and I also don't see what you are speaking of.

I dunno, it looks like his face is

----|^o^o^|
--<^^^|_|^^>
----|^____^|
----\_______/

i.e. the cheeks protrude too far.

You should definitely remove the crosses from the crown- it is both religiously and historically inaccurate!
But seriously, if you don't know how it is done- look at the files of Tamerlane- he had the same problem and I solved it.

Yeah I agree, his cheeks are too 'puffy', which would suit Santa Claus but not Solomon so much. Looking great otherwise!

Nothing's wrong with his face (as far as being uneven) it just appears that way in that screen-shot because of the shadows, its fine I'm looking at it right now.

Well this is why I asked for ideas about the crown, that's just the Charlemagne texture, I don't intend on using it at all, which is why I asked for ideas and haven't released him. So if anyone has any comments other than "the crosses shouldn't be there," which is obvious, I'd like to hear them.

As far as the cheeks go, I kind of like them that way, but if you guys think they are too puffy then I guess maybe they are too puffy.
