The Capo's LH Gallery and Self-Help Thread!

I understood that, but only because it was so similar to German.

Ser Interesant, ich wüßte/kännte das nicht.

No, it is "Very interresting, I didn't know that"

I wouldn't have know that would be "ich haette das nicht gewusst" :)

Not quite...

"Very interesting. I didn't know that" would be "Sehr interessant. Ich wusste das nicht." (Kannte doesn't work, since that means to know a person.)

He wrote wüsste, which is subjunctive, so it's the same thing as saying Ich hätte das nicht gewusst -- only instead of perfect tense, it's past tense.

ANYWAYS, I don't wanna hijack this thread anymore with non-LH stuff.

hehe, I thought his 'wuesste' was more of a typo (much like there is no 'kaennte', just 'kannte'), admittedly it should have been 'wusste' and that is how I read / translated it.

As much as I know, "hatte gewusst" and "wusste" is the same more or less. Just like English has "had known" and "knew".
But enough with the German language debates...

Capo, I might finally give you a shadered Dusan today or tomorrow (depends on my mood... I have some annoying stuff to do for my classes, that drain all the energy and will to live...).

OK, this is really annoying! Even with The Coyote's fix I can't shader Dusan! Actually, I CAN shader him, but I can't reassemble it in Nifskope after I export it from Blender.
If anybody is willing to help I can post the stuff I did so far here. Again, I added shaders, but now we need to make this LH work.

I wouldn't have known that my German comment would have spawned a discussion like that. :p

If you want to post Dusan here you can do that, or you can post him in Ekmek's tutorial. The reason I suggest the latter is because I probably won't work on him for a while and you might get it done quicker over there.

I want somebody to say he's gonna work on this because I don't want to just upload it and wait. I'm also not in a rush with this one, anyway.

That's fine, I just have a lot to do for my mod and I didn't plan on updating Dusan until I get back around to my Europe module packs.

Here's what I have so far for Lalibela, I don't know if I like it that much yet, we'll see what it looks like when I'm done, I might scrap it and start over though because I'm not too sure how I can rig the cape/thing/whatever properly.

EDIT: He's based on Asoka BTW, and I'm actually hoping to limit the movement of his shoulders/bicep/upper-arms as much as I can because of that damn cape. Any ideas for animations here? I might just stick with Asoka's regular animations, he won't look too much like Asoka once he is reskinned (I have edited the nose and lips already to look more Africanized.

Oh, shiny. Just kidding. Very promising. :D

I would agree on that I'm not sure how you would rig the cape-thingy, either... It'd look a bit too complicated for any of us to accomplish.

I could always remove the animation from the arm (like we did in the old-school) to get around it, although I'll probably get crap from Ekmek and co. for using such a lame method.

You know, that reminded me, one time I had the weird thought of using Pericles' animation on a LH, but instead of having them do the animation with a sword, they'd do it with a holy book or some other kind of object... Dunno how I would've done it, anyhow.

He will look awesome with that cape!!
I hope the rigging goes well...

you imported him again in Blender? shouldn´t be necessary, only the steps from Nitram15s tutorial were left to do (and this leaderheads makes really some annoying problems if you import him in Blender)

Here is what I have for Lalibela so far, texture-wise. I haven't looked at in-game yet, but I wanted to get the textures done first. I'm going to add trim around the collar and sleeves of the shirt, I just haven't found anything good just yet.

What does everyone think so far?
