is this appearing in the next module?
 
Looks spectacular. He's definitely going to be another The Capo LH stuffed into WoL. :goodjob:

My only comment otherwise is that his face looks a bit stiff, but it could just be because I haven't seen him animated yet.

Yeah, well, I wanted to make him look a bit more bad-ass than the (stylized) Indian art shows him. Indian art is pretty softening, and on top of that most of the "good" images are from much later than he existed. Plus he was a military leader/conqueror so he'll look a little mean compared to images like this...

...so I kinda took that and figured that he probably didn't look exactly like that, and toughened him up a little.

The Capo, when will you be making the Babur LH for the Mughals? Because once you make it I could just pump out a Mughal CotW for your convenience.

EDIT: Also, he kind of reminds me now of that evil priest-guy from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (that one, right?). :mwaha:

I read on the other thread that you will shader Pyrrhus soon. Don't forget to update Heraclius too, IgorS already shadered him for you as a start

EDIT: While we are on shadering oldies, here is the WIP shader for Dusan by The_Coyote.
And what about Amenhotep III? Still don't work, even after The_Coyote's fix?
 
Capo, how about using cfkane's Liu Bei LH as a Vietnamese leader (Le Loi, for example)?
 
I agree, Vietnam only have a modern leader, and the semi-fictional Trung sisters from about 40 AD.
A medieval emperor like Le Liu would be great!
 
I have a lot of errands to run today because I have been snowed in for the past week (almost), so when I get home I'll try to update some of these LHs. Amenhotep looked really strange after I shadered him and the reason I haven't updated Basil with Igor's shaders is because they were incomplete. You could still see the medusa head from Alexander's armor on Basil, so I left it the way it was until I get around to correcting that.

If I have time I can work on it tonight, maybe.
 
The armor on Liu Bei is way too stylized even for a Chinese LH, much less a Vietnamese LH (after all, it is based on Dynasty Warriors, which is a complete exaggeration of the novel The Three Kingdoms, which itself is something of an exaggeration of real historical events, so you kind of get the idea) - although that was sort of the point CfKane was aiming at. I guess with some reskinning maybe he could work, but personally I remember Amra had a Le Loi LH that would work much better.
 
Really? She made Le Loi too? Wow, I totally missed that...
Do you have a link or a screenshot by any chance?

Yeah I remember there were issues with both Dusan and Amenhotep, and you wanted to fix Heraclius before you upload the shadered version.
I just hoped maybe they will get in the next round of shaders. I know this doesn't matter at all as these are not new LHs, but accidentally you got 4 "shadered oldies" already (Mongkut, Yaroslav, Charles V, and Cleomenes), so these could be the next 4 along with Pyrrhus :)

It's still not that accurate, but I think it's "closer", so to speak, than Liu Bei.

Yeah, I reacted the same way when I understood that Amra is a woman :)

And thx for the quick answer, but actually I saw that LH, just didn't remember. I DLed and checked all her mods a few months ago.
I suppose it just didn't make too big impact on me as I don't really like that LH, it's a relatively simple reskin...

I understand Liu Bei looks too "shiny", but why not?! Aren't all Civ LH exaggerated a bit? I mean, look at Pacal or Genghis- I bet they didn't really look like the way they are depicted in the game. I am going to use him as Le Loi unless somebody makes a better LH or reskin
