The Capo's LH Gallery and Self-Help Thread!

Just wanted to give some feedback on Reicheleu (sp?) and Chochise. Both are excellent leaderheads and work flawlessly. They both showed up in a random game and I am impressed, as I am for your Crazy Horse/Geronimo concept module. ;) I will go rate them now. :D

Also, the tag infos for Reicheleu is right on the money as far as I can tell. Kind of a hypocritical pushy power hungry fellow that is very hard to deal with, yet gives you a high bonus sharing his religion. Of coarse, that could just be my exposure to that 90s movie "The 3 Muskateers" talking. :D As impressed with the leaderhead I am, I don't think he'll be making it in any more games though, because he himself (real dude) isn't the renowned leader I'm looking for to have with the rest of France's leaders. :)
 
Uh.. is there any way to change my rating? I made a error on the Reicheliu leader head. :blush: I had the rating drop box open and was thinking of what to rate it, when I went to read more in the description abut it and my mouse slipped and rated it something I DID NOT want to rate it (way lower than I wanted... I was thinking it should get like an A or B+ range). :(


If it's stuck, then let me just say publicly that REICHELEU IS AN EXCELLENT LEADER HEAD. ;)

No but when I had the drag down bar open with my finger on the left click button, and I was thinking of whether to give it a B+, an A- or an A, I went to move the curser down to the description text to read it some more and it slipped and clicked! It says I rated it a D+. :( I wanted something closer to an A. :blush: It's quite embarrising actually, cuz I rather like the LH and I like TheCapo.
 
That's fine RODP; I am not too concerned with my ratings, I know they're good otherwise I wouldn't put them out. One of my favorite wars/historical eras is the thirty years' war era which is why Gustav Adolph, Charles V and Richelieu are among my first LHs. I was pretty sure Richelieu wouldn't appear in many mods (he will be in the next version of mine though), but if anyone wanted to make a Thirty Years' War scenario he would be a good leader for France.

Having said that, it is nice to get the A+ ratings. :goodjob:

I would add Richelieu to my game as well, but I decided that I won't give more then three leaders for a civ, and France already has three. But yesterday I thought about it and decided to add Sweden to my game. So, your Gustav Adolph found himself another home!
And speaking of Sweden... I would really like to see Gustav Vasa as a LH one day. I heard a lot about him when I went to Sweden, Vasa was everywhere! Just like Henrique is everywhere in Algarve. This is not really a request, just an idea for the future.

I hadn't rated this one yet, so I gave it a higher rating to balance out your D--. Didn't change anything -- still had 4 stars.
 
I like the Gustav II Adolf leaderhead and he'll soon be the second leader of my Sweden civilization. Now I don't have to always choose Karl XII when I want to play Sweden.
 
Everything works fine with the Gustav II Adolf LH but there's one small problem with him that you can see in the attached pictured. He has got pink eyeshadow! I've looked through the folders to see if something is missing but I couldn't find anything. This is how he looks like:

Also, there is one more detail that isn't a problem but I wonder why his hair is red on the sides of his head but brown on the top?

Except that, there is no problems with the leaderhead.

The hair is dark (or as you call it brown) at the top because I just recolored the hair ekmek used for Curtin. I am not good at skinning, but if you have any artistic skills you can go into the coresponding DDS file and alter it.

As for the eye shadow; I thougth Gustav DID wear pink eyeshadow? :mischief:

No, Edgecrusher is right, you can just move anyone's eyeshadow in there I think.

My only regret about the LH is that he seems a bit too, how do I say this, "fit" to be Gustav Adolph. But my skills are still rather limited.

Who cares about that?! I compared your Gustav Adolph to a portrait of him and I must say that he came out very similar to the portrait! And the face is what matters most, since the face is what we see in the game, not the body. Although I must say you really made Dusan fit the description of a very tall man! It is also a great LH! The only thing I didn't like about it is his greeting animation...
 
These won't be out for a while, but I am just letting everyone know what my next list of LHs will include...

Kamaheamahea (a younger version, like his statue)
Ulmanis (a request for Latvia)
Nasser (a request from a lot of people)
Askia Mohammed (for Songhai/Mali)
Suppilulima/Mursilis (for a Hittite module I will make)
Lauturo (sp?, of the Mapuche)

I am also going to make my new mod, where I will be creating a few new LHs. I am going to keep those a surprise though.

If you have any suggestions for any of the leaderheads I've proposed please let me know as I won't begin on them for a while, so we have plenty of time to kick around ideas for how they should look. And I believe it was Kapas (or something like that) who requested Ulmanis, sorry its taking so long but I am still going to make him, I've just had a lot on my plate lately.
 
There's already a Kamehameha out there, made by MethylOrange. It's cool.
