Well, I'm hoping that this is a scenario thing. I've already posted that calling Sitting Bull the leader of all "Native Americans" makes absolutely zero sense.

This may be the first time I am truly disappointed with Firaxis.

I don't understand why you're so distressed. They had him and the Sioux in Civ 2 even though that game, compared to Civ 4, was a little bit more serious in nature (no computer-generated wonder movies, no cartoony leaderheads, text content a little more mellow - no "BURN BABY BURN!!!"). So I don't understand why Sitting Bull and the Sioux joining the Civ 4 fold would be such an abomination. In terms of Civ games, I mean.

Paradox Interactive has included Dai Viet Empire (ancient vietnam) in Europa Universalis III. I really hope Firaxis will do the same with Civ IV. The Empire made a big impact in the region and cannot be ignored

3. Israel
4. Portugal
5. Byzantium
6. Ethiopia
7.

I figured that Austria, Poland, and Portugal would fit with "beyond the sword" and so could arguably be Byzantium.
