How old are you, Beorn?

I recently played an AWM, and I had 7 towns, cats and swords before anyone had sent anything towards my way. I don't think archers are needed. But, that start was gold. There was a big lake dividing the continent, so I had 3 big stacks of cats and swords, and all three civs would fall like mice to a tank, and leaders were plentiful. But, I haven't finished it, cause I know that I coul easily, and that's good enough for me .

lurkers comment : AWM was not so hard in my experience. Just played a huge AWM with 4 civs on my continent, but it was no problem, although challenging in the beginning. Archers in the beginning can be very effective.

Yeah, but what about 12-14 year olds . It's still easy though, this isn't supposed to be anything legendary.

3950 BC- make Peking, archer
3550 BC- Peking archer -> archer
3460 BC- Peking expands, revealing this grass to NE, N, NW and Plains to the south and a mountain range toward the SW
3250 BC- see Green (Persians, , or Greeks :suicide: ), a quick check says its Persians , BronzeWorking -> IronWorking
3100 BC- meet Ottomans
3050 BC- Otto warrior dies, 1/3 archer promos

I haven't contacted Persians yet, build archer and try to get iron in mountains and hills
