The Civ 5 C&C Off-Topic Thread

Bane___________ is also Brazilian, actually, that's odd, could have sworn there were more brazilians out there.

Leugi is from an Andean country I believe.

i.e. not Brazil

Leugi's from Bolivia.

But technically in the limbo as of right now.

That said, it's not much compared to the surprisingly high number of people ON THE COMMONWEALTH.

The Commonwealth as a whole has a population of like two billion, so I'm not really surprised. (Now NZ in particular may be a bit overrepresented to have two people for its relatively small size...)

The three Brazilians I referred to were Tarc, GPuzzle, and DarthStarkiller.

You can say what you like about the British, but they certainly knew how to colonise or conquer on every continent. :)

Statistically speaking, either Pouakai or myself is a Sheep.

That said, it's only Australia, New Zealand, England and Canada that have people.

On the other hand, it's like 50% of all modders.

Considering you're kiwis, that takes on a whole new meaning.

Yeah, who would have thought that the community characterized by speaking in the language of the forums as a mother tongue would be the most present in the forums...

Well yeah, they get gold from each city they settle and their capital's science output is increased based on the science of all their other cities, so it only makes sense for them to go wide.

And the Isle of Man! Don't forget the guy who started the lion thread!

If anything my presence here over-represents the Isle of man.

At the risk of being that Briton, you're saying that there are no Welsh, Scottish or Northern Irish modders? :p

Yeah, it's probably the single most overrepresented country in the C&C community solely due to you.

Technically, it's not a country by itself. It's a Crown dependency, isn't that right?

I figure that if England, Scotland, Wales, and NI can count as "constituent countries" of the UK then the Crown dependencies surely qualify as countries.

Is there any way to not overrepresent the Isle of Man? :p

I know, right? Even the UK version of The Apprentice had a Manx contestant one year!

Feh, "Technically", but we have our own laws, parliament, currency, passport etc.

Probably the most autonomous "British" territory there is.

Also steam lets me set my country to "Isle of Man", though there is no flag :(

I think I know who you mean, was he the one who died recently?

There aren't. The only one just kind of... left. Results were not pretty.
