Does anyone know how to put "mediamgr.ugo.com" on the restricted list in XP? I've just spent 20 minutes going through the MSN website and I can't find anything on a restricted list.
If i right click in the middle of this add, i got an option to mute it. Insteed of muting it, it open the movie internet site. Every trick they can use are good to them, Their should be some legislation to control those intrusive publicity.
Not only did "The Core" look bad in the first place, it now looks even worse by the screwed up audio. It's coming out this weekend? Hope it doesn't make it to the top five.
BTW, "Hunted" made number three its opening weekend

I don't have XP but I don't think the browsers are that different. Within IE, you go to the main menu, click on tools, then Internet options. Then click on the Security tab. It has options for Internet, Intranet, Trusted Sites and Restricted Sites. click the restricted sites option and there is a Sites button. Click this and add Mediamgr.ugo.com. Then there is a section for "Security settings for this area" or something like that. The default level is "high" which wasn't quite enough for me. I had to hit the Custom Level button and scroll down to make sure Disable Java is selected.
That's what worked for me, but that's on Win2000 and Win 98 machines, not XP.
I cannot listen to mp3s while visiting Civfanatics anymore, everytime I switch pages I get assaulted by electrical superstorms, and the ads are making my Inet explorere window crash sometimes if I hop from page to page on the forum too fast.
Sorry about that. I am still waiting for Telefragged to remove that ad. In the mean time, I have temporarily removed the ad banner codes from the forum.
