The Day the Music Died, RIAA Files Lawsuits Against File Sharers

I thought the recording industry had found a way to make music CDs uncopiable. I recently purchased a CD by the Swedish band Ultrabeat. I went to burn a few songs from it, onto a "mix" CD that I like to listen to in my car. My program wouldn't recognize the CD. Well I have 2 computers, so I tried to burn it on the other one. No dice. Can't burn songs from that CD. Is this the recording industry's solution, and if so, why isn't it more widespread?

It took hackers a few hours to break the security of theese "pirate-proof" CDs. Anyway, if something is coming out of your speakers, you can record it, make and mp3 out of it, then share it on Kazaa... It's so easy a trained chimp could do it. ;)

Okay. But how do I train my chimp to do it? And do I have to give my chimp my password?
