Behold, SI tackles a most serious issue, the dreaded SI curse. Do you think it really exists, or is it just supersititon?

P.S. The kittie is the one from Sabrina, and also looks my cat at home, midnight. :)

Less known is the SI swimsuit model curse, where all femeale supermodle appering in the swimsuit edition wind up in my beroom in the following year.:D

Lefty, that's more spelling errors in a couple of sentences than you've previously made in two months! I think that you should definitely tone down your womanising antics with swinsuit-clad supermodels and concentrate on your spell-checking hobby a little more. ;)
You could of course combine the two. :enlighten:
Not sure of how yet, but you're resourceful and can come up with something. :goodjob:

Just WHERE exactly are you suggesting I install the spell checker?

It is usually considered an honor to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated. However, a superstition has started that after a person or a team appears on the cover, they have some horrible mishap. It's like a jinx, you do well, make it to the cover, then crash.

They have a nice timeline of the curse. Recent examples include having Nebraska's Heisman winning quarterback (they then lost to Colorodo horribly, and then lost the Rose Bowl), Michael Jordan as a Wizard (his wife shortly after announced she was divorcing him), and the Giants 41-0 (or 3?) stomping of the Vikings in the league championship game (they then got horribly walloped in the Super Bowl).

They can trace it back since the 1950's.

It could start a promising trend with more kitties on the front pages of magazines...

That cat looks very like my cat Suki (when she was younger...obviously they have airbrushed her a bit :) )
