The epicanthic fold

Do you mean evolutionary story?

Maybe it has something to do with deserts? Does it serve a purpose? I know I'm not actually answering the question, but this is honestly something I've wondered as well.

My asian friend can close his eyes just so slightly that they look completely shut, but he can still see clearly. Funny thing is his epicanthic fold is less dominant he he has more round eyes due to his Burmese ancestry.

Meh, haven't seen any proof of intelligent design by God yet. Matter of fact, it's been a while since I've seen any proof of intelligent design by humans as well.

You think you could design a better eye? :p

Hell yes I could. I could eliminate the blind spot in the vertebrate eye by adding light sensitive rods on the optic disc of the retina.

Ah..but the fact that you have two eyes to compensate for this means its not necessary. ;)

Why not just add more eyes? Hehe.

I would add some on the back of the head. No more sneaking up behind me!

Makes for awesomely beautiful women.:)

Yeah, but vertigo might be an issue. ;)

I already suffer from it.

We need a new idea for Bill3000 to improve upon, how to keep balance and get rid of vertigo.

That would require a re-design of the inner ear. Maybe install a gryoscope somewhere near the medulla oblongata?
