I do note the snowshoes. Even as a canadian, I have never once worn snowshoes, though soon enough that may change (if I go up north for part of the winter. and by north I mean north bayish area.)
They make life much nicer when you're walking on crusty snow, where you can put down a little bit of weight, then they suddenly give away and you sink in to your hips.
Oh shoo you moose. You can pretty clearly see from the clothing alone that she's a girl. I was actually going to ask iggy if it was his sister, but then I had some second thoughts since the girl looked kinda bit too... robust, for a girl
(oh and the character on the pic was quite short, thus referring to a girl, and that sort of packback is videly used by girls even here in finland )
