This thread is meant to put your favourite classical music or opera piece.
I give mine. I'm a layman on this area, and would like if you would put your favourite piece here, maybe more but please not a whole list, i want to be able to see the trees, not only the forest.

...except the ones in Europa Universalis II!

You didn't want a long list so i'll write the most optimistic ones. What really makes me go on is Bizet's Carmen (especially the ouverture, however I can't find a good version now) and Ravel's Bolero (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtngunsAUsI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuT2VJ7XVGc).
