I was wondering how Dr. Vogel thought she could show up at a facility and try to institutionalize someone who everyone believed was dead and was living under an assumed name but it looks like she was never intending to do that.
I wonder why Dr. Vogel's DNA is in a register, unless they make a habit of doing that for people who work with the department or something.
Here's a super spoiler -
Yvonne Strahovski who plays Hannah apparently gave an unintentional spoiler at some event that Hannah came back this season to get revenge but then later claimed it was motivation to get revenge or something like that.
I was surprised to find out that the actress who plays Hannah, Yvonne Strahovski, is from Australia. And watching her in an interview her Australian accent isn't that strong, she almost sounds American.
Heh. That's how I *felt* after the first season and became willing to admit after the second.
Exact same thing with Sons of Anarchy, which for a time was my favorite program: I thought the first season was a great and essentially self-contained story. But when a show shifts from telling a great story to staying on the air as long as possible the nature of the story-telling changes. Rarely, IMO, for the better.
This is why so many British shows have such good stories: The assumption is that the show will be on for just that season and they're designed with a beginning, a middle, and an end. If people like it enough they produce another season that also generally has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Shows designed to be Energizer Bunnies emphasize hooks and melodrama over resolution and development. Such shows can still be very enjoyable, but they'll rarely have the depth or drama of limited programs.
