The Greatest Show (Invitational NES)

One day, I WILL write a story!

But for now, you'll have to live with just rushed orders:
- Grow army size once.
- Expand to the southeast, to eventually found the actual city of Eridugga/Eridu.
- Start creating an urban civilization, at the same time not neglecting the agriculture too much. Encourage innovation.

Ok, for those promising stories, now's your chance, i won't have time to update until Sunday evening, even then it's iffy since I'm getting a Wii. Sunday hopefully, Monday at the latest.

EGYPT short story

" We must get a foothold on the Sinai", stated one Egyptian explorer. This land would be key to getting a hold of Arabia and Israel, as Egypt and Egypt alone held the key to the fertile Nile valleys to the South. They would try to get as much to the East as possible before starting a land dispute with border nations- Egypt wants to be peaceful- then expand south.

Egypt will live and prosper for thousands of years to come. The rest of the world should fear us.

Amsterdam stood at the edge of the Great North Sea. The Dutch rose to become a prominent people as the ambitious explorers charted and explored the seas. A chief council was set up many years ago which slowly evolved into a mercantile republic as wealth from trade poured in from across the seas and from the Rhine River. Amsterdam was to be constructed to be a great port and be built into one. A city that would be a center of trade and culture for Northern Europe. A great city lead by the council.

The council is a group of men from the most prominent merchant families many of whom are descendents of the old tribes that ruled over the Dutch. A council of 24 leaders is elected by the merchant class of the Dutch to properly direct and control trade so it is the most profitable for the nation. The council elects an Elect King and he is given the title “Ruler for Life”. If he proves incompetent during his reign the council can hold another vote to depose him. Although this system has worked for now one branch may gain total power over the nation destroying the other

OCC: Something quick I wrote up. I will try to get some better stuff in.

Carthage Orders:
-Expand west and reach the Atlantic coast of Africa. Give all first sons who move and settle some land. Place my brothers as head of new villages. Also, tend to settle our towns on the coasts so we don't get lost.
-Expand our economy by fishing around Carthage city. Give free fish to exemplary families who work hard. Also forage in newly founded villages in the frontier.
-Also send free fish (wrapped in aluminum paper with a bowtie) to foreign chiefs of inland villages on the frontier, many of which I am sure do not get too much fish.

Ireland and Beyond

Eire was secure, its people prosperous. It was offically led by King Sean II, and below him were the Provincial Princes, and under them the McDaddies. Yes, Ireland prospered. Its army grew strong, since all men from 15-26 served in the army. It allowed them to learn of life, tradition, and the Irish Way.

The fields that dotted the countryside were adequate, but more territory was always wanted. So Sean II looked to the West. He looked..........to Scotland.

Update will be tonight.

My orders are on page 3, in case you can't find them.

Falustet leapt off the prow of his boat, splashing into the shallow water. Wading to the shore along with many other Cypriots, he dragged the galley with him.

Falustet, Egyptian by ethnicity, Cypriot by nationality, gazed around the bay. It would be a fine place for a settlement.

The first of many to come...

As do I. Am losing heart about this idea as time drags on...

I do apologize, but i've been sick recently and just got the Wii, so i am tired and sore.

Dammit eq, this ain't cool. Forget the Wii and come do what really matters :(

Damn EQ, this was gonna be great.
lurker's comment: It's okay--your NES is doing pretty much the same thing (on-thread orders, quick updates, etc.)

EQ hasnt been online for 5 days now...
