The hardware requirements are not the problem...

Why? Because I tried the game on two system, one that was less performing than the other. Conclusion? The less performing system had less difficulties running the game than the more performing one. The low performance system had less ram, less cpu, and an older graphic card. Still, it could run the game smoothly, while the other comp with more ram, cpu and a newer graphic card couldn't make it run at a steady framerate.

I can understand what you're saying, but that's not emperical evidence that hardware is not to blame. Make no mistake, I'm not saying this is 100% hardware...because it's sure as hell is NOT. Python, according to others, is ******** slow and a major source for the crappy performance. I'm sure the coding is less than effecient and needs to be cleaned up.

What was your "slower" system running in memory at the time? Was it a "vanilla" install of windows running only 71mb of memory upon winlogon? Was your other "faster" system bogged down with gobs of memory resident programs? Does your faster system need to be defragged? Is the pagefile size jacked up?

The faster system is brand new... with 1024 DDR2 ram and 1.7 pentium M cpu (which is around a 3.0 p4) while the slower computer only had 488 DDR ram and a 2 ghz cpu. The slower comp had loads of spywares and programs that was slowing the computer, and the laptop (faster system) had absolutely no bugs. Still, the fps was near 2-3.
