Got Braid off Steam as part of its 66% off sale.
It's not exactly widely for sale and was only just released on steam a few days ago.
And won't work for me.
I got Red Orchestra on Steam and it runs like a charm on my 64 bit Vista. I can only recommend it, tank combat is awesome.
"Beatles Rock Band" is kindov redundant....
Such a fun game, if criminally short.
A window named Themida opens.
On it is a white X surrounded by a red circle to the left, and in the center is this message:
Sorry, this application cannot work under Windows x64
Themida is a copy protection software. Why it's giving an error I don't know. Try searching on Tripwire's forums.
I'm going to get CoD MW 2 and Assassins Creed 2, looking forward to those 2.
Red Faction Guerilla unlocked today. Yay!
I saw some footage of Just Cause 2 yesterday it looked very nice.
Traded in some old 360 games and picked up the first Assassins Creed yesterday. Having some fun times stealth killing guards on rooftops.
Still got a gift card for eb games with $NZ53 on it from my tradeins too heh.
Is theatre of war fun to play?
Just now starting my first game of Fallout III for the 360.
I just picked up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.... Venom + Deadpool = Good times!
Found Beyond Good and Evil from some cheesesnack (like getting them in cereal boxes except with a cardboard slip) and Police Quest: SWAT 2 in a jewel case for $1.99 each at local thrift store, they didn't have what I went in there to find though (I had a tip about a nice laptop bag, it was gone >.>).
My brother picked up Madden 2009 for $6 new the other day. It's absolutely terrible.
And Direct2Drive is having a sale of a bunch of games for $5, but does it still have those issues I remember hearing about it needing separate patches that would come later than normal games(not like it'd matter with these old games so long as they're fully patched.) They got M&B for $5, I just want to know if mods or anything would be messed up by getting it from there.
Yeah it still has issues HOWEVER you can use the serial key it provides, and, if the game is sold on steam, click the activate product button in the games tab on steam and enter the serial key in there to add it to your steam game's list and download it from there.
Unfortunately D2D (part of IGNorant.com) refuses to accept my credit card oh well, they don't deserve my money anyways, it's not like they spend it wisely... all of IGN's sites are absolutely horribly designed.
D2D sucks terrible. That's where I got my Civ 4 BTS from and it's had issues starting up from the day I bought it.
If I'm lucky, it will start. But maybe it started in a mod. And so then I have to reboot it, remember, to play normal... only once again, you can only get it to work once in a blue moon. And if you try to get it to work twice in a row... well your odds are slim.
Oh well, nothing of all too much interest, the Steam version of M&B works fine though? I know people complain about using mods and things on steam to sometimes, which was why I didn't buy that THQ pack they had a while ago.
juswt bought point lookout, have yet to actually play it though.
