The Journey of a Thousand Fails Begins With a Single Deity Game

you both have got two 5 stars!

Yes, Copaczin's story is on the level of CYOA. He should be very proud.

Ironically, I'm one of the two people who gave Copaczin's story the 5 star rating :D

In case you guys are wondering, there'll be an update this Friday. I'm pretty busy during the week so you can expect updates every weekend, but rarely any other time.

we are happy when ever you can do it :)

Actually, screw that (can I say "screw" on the forums?)

Here's something to hold you over till the weekend :D

(No Promo this time, I'm working on an actually good one that's still a while from completion.)

The Egyptian Morale Bureau is proud to present:

The History of the World!

Hello, kids! My name is Donny Vermilion, and I'm here to tell you about the history of our great nation, and it's benevolent leader, Copaczin.

In the beginning, before the dawn of civilization, existed the Neoteric Era. The people back then were very primitive and divided, and warfare was commonplace. It was very different from out evolved, peaceful society!

Luckily though, there was a light in the darkness. This light was called Mobutu. You see kids, Mobutu was the ancestor of our great leader himself! He unified the tribes with the might of the great Congolese army. Their unwavering loyalty and military prowess enabled them to brush aside their opponents, such as Charlemagne (The first Spy) with ease.

THIS NEVER HAPPENED.

After some other unimportant stuff happened, involving Poles and Iroquois and a mass extiction event known by Paleontologists as the "Great Crash."

Little is known about what happened after the Great Crash, but sometime later our Leader was born. In his wise-ness, he founded the first civilization, called the Egyptians. That's you and me!

The Egyptians were adept at creating art, as shown by these early paintings found in ancient dwellings. (Generously Provided to this documentary by the Sander Cohen Collection of Fine Art)

"Not to nitpick Donny, but don't these paintings predate the Egyptians altogether? In fact, they seem remarkably similar to MALI art at the time..."
"SHUT UP, KATE. I SWEAR I'LL HAVE YOU FIRED."

Copaczin later noticed several minor tribes inhabiting the same area. He allowed them to squabble among themselves for the time being. Meanwhile, the Egyptians focused on developing technology, advancing many years ahead of the other "civilizations".

"As you can see, the Egyptians (Pictured in the background) were in a different era altogether than the other tribes (Foreground)."
"Actually, Donny, I think that's an EGYPTIAN settlement in the foreground."
"I TOLD YOU TO BE QUIET KATE."

In time, however, Copaczin took pity on the savages, and showed them the wonders of his technology. Most of the tribes advanced 3 eras in one Turn!

"As you can see, the Egyptians were a highly advanced-"
"Donny, weren't WE the ones to-"
(We apologize for the interruption, and regret to inform you that Kate has tragically passed away after tripping and falling on several bullets. We'll miss you, Kate!)

That began what's known as the Modern Era. Our great nation allied itself with the weakest of the tribes, the Mali, in order to help those less fortunate. Now, we live in an era of peace, prosperity, and Cheeseburgers, free of the hardships of life. So the next time you kids grab a bite to eat at your favorite Burger Chain, or listen to Nyan Cat's hit single "Nyan, Nyan," just remember to thank our glorious leader, Copaczin, for it!

I'm Donny Vermilion, and I look forward to talking to you on our next documentary: "Red Handed!: the True story of the Egyptian Spy Program."

Spoiler :
Which may or may not be an actual post, depending on what you guys think.

The Sudetenland is, I believe, an area in the Czech Republic with a large German population. It was part of Germany but taken from them after WWI.

DEM TANKS...

We continue from when we took over the northern half of an Island later known as "Conservapedia". With Isabella's presence in the region gone, the Egyptian's attention was turned west, to the remnants of her island empire. Amassing an army and a small fleet, they ordered an attack on the Spanish Island of Futuba.

All seemed to go well, with the invasion force prepared to fend of any wooden ships Izzy was still usin- AMAHGAWD THE CELTS ARE ATTACKING

And the Hills.

Though their naval power was a force to be reckoned with, they were still using cavalry. The ground Invasion was fended off, but at the cost of the entire fleet.

They later launched another attack, which was easily beaten back by my highly advanced modern armor division....

Patton would be ashamed.

...or not.

The Egyptians eventually reclaimed the city they lost to a force composed of 19th century cavalry. Donny Vermilion of the Bureau of Morale was unavailable to report on the original defeat due to the funeral of a certain outspoken reporter, who as you recall, lost her footing and tripped, landing on several of Red_Spy2's bullets. Regardless, The Egyptian Armored Divisions retained control of northern Conservapedia.

Meanwhile, the Pharaoh decided to use diplomacy rather than force to deal with the Spanish. After the entire garrisons of Futuba's 2 cities were wiped out by repeated Nuclear attacks from the Supermutan- I mean Mali, Isabella was more than happy to give control of one of them to the Egyptians in exchange for peace.

The Scenic Futuban landscape.

Of course, 10 turns later, I sent a tank up north and destroyed the other city. And, as if the fallout wasn't enough, what little remained of Futuba was devastated by a massive Volcanic eruption.

Island Paradise.

With Izzy hiding out on a Galleon somewhere (Complete kills turned on), the full force of the Egyptian war machine could be focused on the Celts. A mighty fleet was amassed to battle the Celtic forces.

Spoiler :

The Armada prepares for battle.

The second invasion force was ready, the Celts were defenseless (Aside from the 2 dozen destroyers they had), and the Mali were busy nuking everyone. Sensing this opportunity, the Egyptian high commend ordered an immediate attack on the Celtic Islands. This war would either win the Egyptians an actual empire, or doom them to another deity game loss. The stakes were high.

Meanwhile, the Zulu had been reduced to living on Islands as well, and had backed out of the fighting. This was compensated by the Arabians joining the fight after allying with the Celts. This war would be fought on land and sea, and with the ai being absolutely HORRIBLE at naval combat, it would be up to me to win the Oceanic theater. It was time to stop Hitchhiking, and get a ride of my own.

It was time to sail, or fail.
