So back in Egypt, people were finally starting to feel the effects of several years of fallout combined with a diet made up entirely of Cheeseburgers. The Pharaoh decided to revamp the Empire by making it "Cool" and "hip" for the new generation. Unfortunately, by the time this plan rolled around, "cool" and "hip" weren't even part of the slang anymore, having been replaced with such words as "Pregnant" and "Superfluous." Nonetheless, the plan was implemented: to change all the city names into the names of videogames characters.

Meanwhile, I discovered that there were two GE's laying around, doing nothing because there wasn't anything worth rushing, and I needed three to start a golden age. I decided to settle them. They would live out the rest of their lives in the capital, Duke Nukem, teaching things that the kids found totally Superfluous.

While the war dragged on, and people slowly forgot about it back home, the "barbarians" were busy evolving. They had managed to climb up to the mid-nineteenth century in terms of technology. Luckily for them, everyone was busy nuking each other.

The battle lasted as long as expected when Modern Armor and jet Fighters go up against infantry. Afterwards, the city with the impossible to pronounce name was christened (or Jewished?) Ramirez, after the army Ranger private who single-handedly won the entire fight.

With Alyx Vance's west flank secure, and Nuclear weapons being readied, the stage was set for the invasion of the rest of the Celtic island.
