They don't want euro. For example my country is experiencing a decent economic growth, about 6% in 2005, much above the EU average. For us, euro wouldn't be good right now - koruna is strenghtening and this helps us deal with inflation. We will eventually join eurozone, but right now, it would be against our interests.
 
Yes, but I read from NATO that the WEU still has a few residual duties & has a small secretarit; I'll have to look it up on that one.
