Hi Natuland,
sorry, I accidentally attached the wrong file to the mail. (Had been kind of late already...

). TGW is long over.
Sent the correct one right now.
Basically what you do in this forum is: post a little "GPS" whenever you got a turn, played it and sent it on to the next player. This allows everyone to keep track of where the game is currently at.
Also in case of battles, you should post a little battle report about those things that the opponent would usually see if this were a single-player (or real-time multi-player) game. In an email-game, the opponent does not see any of your actions, and that would not be fair compared to the SP version of the game.
Some players also like to add little details about their games to make the story more interesting, to set little riddles for their fellow players or to lead them on a false clue...
(Eclipse is quite good in this department, and Cyc as well... Other players just do the mandatory GPS. That's fine as well, there's no obligation to give away details about your game, it's completely voluntary.)
The regular GPS in this thread also helps a lot in cases where the current .sav "gets lost". (Which has happened occasionally during a long absence of a player or due to email spam filter problems...)
Some treaties and alliances that are formed during the game, or other things of general interest, can be made public on this thread. The rest of the diplomacy can take place in direct player-to-player email communication. But remember: no email diplomacy before in-game contact is established!
I think Chamnix is taking over from Calis today, so you should perhaps also send your turn to his mail address.
Thanks, Lanzelot
