Suppose something bad is happening. If people stand by and don't do a thing are they as guilty as the person doing it?

EDIT: Assuming that helping will not get them in physical danger

I think issues of morality actually are worth their own thread.

Good Samaritan laws are practically unenforceable beyond making an example of the occasional sociopath which I suppose has some value. Heh Seinfeld.

Well Im not referring to legally.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin - James 4:17

What does the smiley :3 mean? I tried to research, but it's not easy to search smilies.

I'd say they aren't as guilty as the one doing the bad thing.

Mostly I think people have some reason for not preventing bad things happening, and in most cases there is a threat of violence, I think. Sometimes people don't know what is the right thing to do either.

You just need to find the right source. :3

Actually I do have a question. What kinds of disc players can cause damage to their discs when the device containing them is moved (e.g. an Xbox 360 being moved with a game inside, thus severely damaging it)?

Lame then.

I translated a 6-sentence article (about 200 words Id say) in 3 hours. Is that considered good?

Unrelated legislation. It's a bad idea.

What is the credit score of all the governments and major organizations of the planet? How many sources and/or what did you check?

No idea.

Question: I read in a sex-ed book I found that having anal sex will make your poopies fall out. Is there any truth to this?

Good Samaritan laws account for the threat of violence, most of them punish those who fail to tender aid where this is no reasonable expectation of harm to your self. It's pretty vauge overall which is why they're uneforceable.

If there is, you're doing it wrong.

Well it mentions something about the anus stretching and eventually if you do it too much your poop will fall out.
