They can't be banned!
Mods can be banned just like any other user.
But mods are a select few chosen because they show integrity, and good-will. Therefore the chances of a mod ever doing anything that could carry a ban sentence is unlikely.

Mods can be banned. I remember Gonzo telling me that him, SunTzu, and munzy were given a 3-day ban for spamming the other moderators once...

Nope, I didn't need to. Posted extensively in the past in the Civ3 forums, History, Site Feedback, All Other Games. Not much in the OT.

I am a mod in another smaller forum.
I tried to ban someone because they where being outright stupied (It had to do with urine-cakes (I hope you are not eating)) the button was near where the avatar is ussually and lets say that I still have 10 more days to go (I acidentaly baned myself).

Its almost kinda scary (no offense, XIII, calling a Mods Avatar scary probably ain't the brightest of ideas . . . ). Its from some Anime, they have different expressions like that. If you have never watched Japanese Anime, then you won't know where it is from.
I rather like Lefty's new one, its kinda neat . . .
