The Mole: S&T's First Game Show!

Nah, we just enjoy spamming his thread. :p

Ok, here it is for real this time:
Spoiler :
General Olaf?
Spoiler :
You are safe
Spoiler :
Red Spy?
Spoiler :
You have been eliminated! Thank you for playing! Do not forget that you may not mention who you had voted for

The first person is now up

D'aww, poor RS.

No, I just added to it.

SUDDEN RULE CHANGE!

With only 4 people left, and the fact that we are only at the...classical era, I presume? There needs to be a way for victory to be had quickly. Because by the time we actually reach an era that we can win, we would have been playing with 3 people for...a very long time. And that would be boring, since I would have been forced to switch the mole probably over 10 times :p

So for the remaining contestants (Mosher, HJ, Dhoom, Olaf), I propose "Win Conditions" which are similar to the "Historical Victory" from RFC. Here are the Win Conditions I had come up with:

  1. Be first in score upon reaching the Renascence Era
  2. Conquer another Civilization before the Renascence Era
  3. Complete 2 Medieval Era Wonders

To allow you to plan a bit, and for the Mole to adjust to the new victory conditions, this round is a "Non-Elimination." When Olaf finishes his turnset, it will go back to Mosher again. I've also decided to allow the max turns you are allowed to play to be 20 instead of 10.

If any of you have any complaints about the Win Conditions, it's recommended that you post them here instead of PM'ing concern's. This allows everyone to see what your opinion's are.

Now, this thread will sink slowly for a bit as we wait for HJ's return from camping...

Would you mind giving us a list of which techs are Renaissance Era techs so that the goal is clearer?

Also, does "Vassalization" count as conquering or only complete annihilation of another Civ?

Further, would you mind defining which Wonders could as Medieval Era Wonders?

Education, Economics, Gunpowder as far as I remember are all Renaissance techs. There's probably more though.

The techs that make you advance to the Renaissance era in game.

In RFC vassalage counts as conquest for historical goals

Further, would you mind defining which Wonders could as Medieval Era Wonders?
Wonders that require medieval techs

Yes, basically everything Ilduce said. As for more clarification with the wonders, it's any 2 wonders completed while your in the Medieval Era

My point in asking was because the list, as given, was too vague. I'd rather that you just make up a set of techs and make up a set of wonders than have a list that no one really is sure what is meant by it.

For example, if we build The Pyramids while we are "in" the Medieval Era, does it count as one of our Wonders, even though it is available to be built in the Ancient Era? If NO, then please give us a list of which Wonders are valid.

Now that this round is no longer a "no elimination round," how many turns do we play?

Also, where does SSK fit within the playing hierarchy? Maybe we can slot him in to be up before hoplitejoe, so as to get the game moving a bit again?

Thank you, ilduce349.

Now we just need a ruling from Yoshi if he meant Wonders that come from Medieval Era techs (which could be built at any time after learning the relevant techs) or if he meant completing any two Wonders while our Civ is in the Medieval Era period. P.S. A National Wonder is still a Wonder. :D

Ok, here's the list of wonders:

University of Sankore, Versailles, Angkor Wat, Notre Dame, Mausolleum of Mausollus (Or Whatever :p), The Apostolic Palace, The Great Library, The Hagia Sofia, The Spiral Minaret, and The Sistine Chapel
