... is without a doubt barbarians leader hunting. I'm not really interested in the ransom (sometimes when I'm short in cash yes) but it's so fun to be sadistic and slowly surround him with units before torturing him

My favorite game is "sink everything." It is best in the early part of the game before big and massively powerful shps arrive and everyone still has frigs and galleons. You find and isolated island civ, surround his ports with frigates, and anything that tries to leave is destroyed with extreme prejudice. After enough time, he is so isolated that his destruction is quick and painless.

Well when you bring an army of spy and you poison watr supplies till the city gets to 1 pop I find that sadistic, especially if you plant a nuclear device right after.

My favorite is money making reputation losing. I beat up on other civs until they offer me money or knowledge. I accept the Cease-Fire, then instantly break it. This is even more fun when you have the Eifel Tower.

I recind my previous statement! the single most entertaining sport in Civ 2 is called "Change their name." It is the result of an old bug in the game that I'm not sure has been fixed.

What you'd do is take a spy and investigate enemy cities. When the city screen pops up you can just click on the rename button on the screen and change the name to whatever you please. It used to be my sport to change all the enemy civ names into vulgar slurs like...well...I can't really say them in here.

A nother fun sport is to make a complete nuclear attack of one enemy city

. This is how you do it:

1. Spot a isolated enemy city. Prefereble a large one. (Make sure that it hasn't got SDI defence

)

2. Build as many nuclear missiles you can.

3. Send in atleast 5 nuclear missiles into the city!

Isn't that a fun sport?

In my better games I enjoy it to capture all enemie cities - except one. Then I encircle that city completely with my forces and develope my empire or build the spaceship. This is even more fun when the last enemie is centuries behind you...

I checked up on it. And the bug that allows you to change enemy city names is still there in the 242 patch. Not to mention the bug that allows you to bring up enemy maps.

One of my favorite sports is takin out advancing enemy offensive units with a stealth fighter. Get yourself 5 of these, and the AI will attack you with alpine troops and riflemen.

Also, i like to wipe out enemy engineers, with Fighters or Naval Vessels. Not very friendly, but makes me feel good...

It's got to be extortion. I just love to milk them for all they're worth, while slowly grinding them down. My favourite message is when they finally say "Have pity on our poor civilization! Here is all our gold (7gp's or something pathetic) to let us live in peace!"

THen I kill them anyway.

It almost makes up for the AI breaking treaties, invading my territory without provocation, and stealing my tech. Almost.

As far as I'm concerned I've never thought of that whyle capturing Barb.Leaders I'm just happy because I get 150 gold especially in beginig of the game.
I also hate poisoning supply because I consider that every enemy City is one of my futur cities...

But there's one thing that really makes my day is...sinking full transports.

Once
I even lost a Batleship and too Cruisers whyle I was stubornly trying to find a transport that had escaped somewhere in the Pacific...

Why sink them when they can be yours?

Just try to surround it so it cannot escape and then take a transport with a diplomat and buy it... With all the units inside. And if you manage well, they'll be so far from your nearest town that they won't need support (belong to NONE)
