The Multipolar World (MP)

==The Takrur Affair==

The Crusaders have sent their navy to assist the Angolans in breaking the blockade.

60 Angolan and 10 Crusader fleets engage 67 Takrur. Due to the Crusaders being 1/7 of the fleet, instead of nullifying the defensive bonus, they cut it by 2 instead. So Takrur gets 8% added onto the final percentage.

The Coalition fleet is defeated and retreats.

Takrur sinks all the enemy ships. The Coalition manages to sink 35 Takrur.

Takrur punishes the Crusaders by blockading them as well, and firing rounds into Angola's coastline, causing massive economic damage.

Angola escalates the conflict further by ordering all bombers to deploy. They engage in an aerial battle with Takrur's 10 fighters.

Angola destroys Takrur's air force, but loses 5 fighters. 25 bombard; 1 ship sank. 6 planes shot down.

==Xinjiang Civil War==

50 Xinjiang air wings go against 20 Rebels.

61/39

Xinjiang destroys the entire air force; the Rebels destroy 10 Xinjiang air armadas.

30 Xinjiang forces bomb and kill all rebel forces, enabling swift occupation.

Xinjiang's expansionism continues unhindered, leaving it once more as the world's superpower.

==Egyptian Civil War==

RamsesEgypt summons its army to destroy the HebrewsRebels. Not supported by anyone, however, the rebels are doomed.

Egypt's navy first collides with the rebels'; it loses. The result is 2 sunken Egyptian ships and 1 sunken rebel ship.

Egypt sends 40 air wings, however, to destroy the rebels' 5.

Oddly enough, Egypt LOSES. It destroys all the rebel air armada, but loses 5 planes.

Egypt raises more planes to kill the enemy armies.

The result is a re-unified Egypt. And Egypt emerging as the world's largest air force.

==To come: Black Ops==

==Black Ops==

5 spies steal from Xinjiang - fail. Xinjiang kills 1 and loses none.

1 steals plans from Takrur - success!

10 spies incite rebellions in Xinjiang - fail. Xinjiang kills 1 enemy spy and loses 2.

1 steals plans from Hawai'i - failure. The agent is killed.

11 agents steal from Hawai'i - success. 1 Hawaiian agent killed. 32 stolen.

6 agents to rob Xinjiang - success. 3 Xinjiang killed. 1 other killed. 21 stolen.

5 agents to steal plans from Xinjiang - success. 2 Xinjiang killed. 2 others killed.

10 steal from Hawaii - failure.

==Coups==

Coup mechanics altered a bit. States can be overthrown by chance, by terrorist actions, or major power actions. However, when a coup succeeds, the state will either declare no allegiance or request client state status. This client state status can be randomly chosen, or will be towards whoever initiated the coup.

As such, it will now be impossible to determine whether a coup was staged or entirely random.

Oh and you can sponsor a coup in another nation and make them declare no allegiance or declare allegiance to a third party.

Happy paranoia!

---

Coup in Nigeria unsuccessful.

A coup in Aden has failed.

Coup in Boers successful. Government asks to become Angola's client state.

An attempted coup in Shanghai has failed.

A coup in Baluchistan has failed.

A coup in Brazil has failed.

==Revolts==

None.

Whoever has tried to coup my client state will suffer. Once I find out, that is.

Xinjiang's expansionism continues unhindered, leaving it once more as the world's superpower.

Communism won once again!! A proud victory for our nation!!

We may had a civil war, and spies trying to steal us, but we are still the greatest superpower in the world.

Xinjiang's expansionism continues unhindered, leaving it once more as the world's superpower.

God Damn it Tani!! Quit it with your superpower fetishes!!

UPDATE IV

The Year is 2156.

The pursuit of land has helped keep world peace a prime objective. But with opportunities rapidly drying up, will the nations of the world resort to cannibalism?

Meanwhile, the Crusaders' attempt to assist Angola has resulted in them being blockaded as well by the mighty Takruri fleet.

Elsewhere, Partitionania has proudly developed the world's first PB bomb. A clean bomb, it is nonetheless capable of rivalling a nuclear weapon's destructive power.

In Finland, the ******** dominion has seen the loss of considerable land to a democratic resistance movement, seeking to end the fascist regime once and for all.

TF's Tips:

-If you post in the thread after the update, I WILL count you as having given orders. Why? Because if you're capable of posting witty banter, you could at least give some vague orders in the event the lock occurred. Failing to do so is 100% on you. :p

-It is more useful to invest all in one tech than equally divide it, as you'll get the benefit from a completed tech immediately.

-Empires will start to rupture at turn's end if weak enough. For this to happen, you must have only 25% more income than a client. Former clients (usually) show interest in remaining friendly, but will relegate your relationship to a mere alliance. If a radical regime is in power, however, they will usually instead try to form alliances, or may even try to break off other clients to form one.

Kizzie crept into the new Dictator-for-life's office. In her hands she clutched three official folders. The Dictator isn't going to like all of this. She thought grimly. I may have to take appropriate action.

"Ah, morning, Kizzie." The Dictator, now resplendent in shades and a waist-length beard, welcomed cordially. "What of today's reports?"

"First off, the artifact retrieved from the facility under the DMZ has been successfully replicated five times." Kizzie confidently stated. "Our pilots and engineers say we will need no other aircraft for any role."

"Excellent, excellent. What of domestic affairs?" The Dictator inquired enthusiastically.

"We are presently the most industrialized nation in the world, and the one best capable of standing without any trade with the outside world." Kizzie reported proudly. "Our people are proud of this nation, and see it as a success before the world."

"Very good. And what is that third document?" The Dictator, suddenly cold, asked.

"This...is the report from the United Nations. Resolution #4 was passed by a slim margin." Kizzie gulped.

"This can't be allowed. The authority of the State must be supreme. But philosophical differences aside, it seems to me the writers of Resolution #4 assume certain things about a State." The Dictator mused. "It seems the writers think all States, all nations, have what the Old Files, the section on The People's greatest enemy to be exact, should and do have a 'Court system'. As you know, Kizzie, we don't have one of those."

"That is correct, sir. Differences between groups, even between The State and individuals, are handled by impartial arbiters, sometimes even recruited from other countries." Kizzie answered.

"Would you agree that the arbiters provide justice? Know that the walls do not have ears here." The Dictator questioned.

"Honestly, the arbiters usually don't provide an absolute solution. We don't even have any prisons. But The State, under you, respects their decisions and only acts without consulting with one or more of them in cases of national emergency." Kizzie replied. "Therefore, I would say the arbiters do provide justice."

"Given that that is true, sweet Kizzie." Kizzie flinched involuntarily at those words. "It would seem that Provision #1 of Resolution #4 is unrelated to the issue of human rights, and is rather designed to cause nations to adopt the Great Enemy's old way of resolving problems, even as they are unaware it led to the People's Enemy's end. Therefore, the United Democratic Republic of Korea defies Provision #1 of Resolution #4, and refuses to offer comment on the internal handling of issues related to the other Provisions." The Dictator proclaimed. "Now go, and fill out the necessary paperwork in the United Nations."

Kizzie bowed, then turned & walked out of The Dictator's office. As she left, a note fell from one of the folders she was carrying.

The Dictator got up and retrieved the note. On the outside was the Kanji for 'Tassadar'. Hesitantly, The Dictator opened the note.

"Good. You opened my note. For point of order, none of your predecessors other than the warlord Kim Sil did. I will be providing advice, now and then, and you would do well to heed it. We can work together, and you & Korea will be great. Or you can die, and I can find another ally. To signal acceptance of my offer, fly the national flag at half height tomorrow.

-Tassadar"

The Dictator eyed the note in silence.

"Mr. President!"
"I am fully aware of the situation, Jamal."
"Sir? But how-"
"The situation is critic. We're on high pressure. Our clients are growing incredibly fast, and we must take steps to advance them. If not, our network of clients could disintegrate."
"Well, sir. The rupee is still a strong currency."
"It's not that, and you know it. If we lose our clients, it's more than probable that an enemy tries to use them against us. But this isn't relevant right now. Our economy still needs to grow. Raise taxes."
:wow: "But, sir! We already raised taxes last y-"
:mad: "I know! I said I'm fully aware of the situation! And this is a way to avoid immediate financial problems. Sure, we'll need to invest on industry too to keep our neighbours and, worst, clients' pace." :think:

India will also host the 2180 Summer Olympics in Calcutta

India is also calling nations to vote affirmatively on resolution #5, giving power to the UN to authorise blockades and measures such as tolls, and also calling all countries to embargo a certain one. All these through the new "Standard Emergency Procedure" defined in the same resolution which will allow much more agile legislation and international community action.
