Oz joins Comitern

The latest developments on the world theater as made Oz rethink its position in the world. The members of the CNC has not met the expectations that Oz has of his allies. After carefull deliberation and consideration Oz has offered its alligiance to the Comitern. The Comitern has on their part accepted Oz into their mids.
From this point forth Oz will be a proud member of the Comitern. It will protect the interests of its members both economically as politically.

The king George I, seeing that China is doomed, decided to leave for holidays in the Greek islands, and let his son, Constantine to handle the situation. Constantine decides that Mr. George should decide what happens, but Mr. George tells Mr. John that he is leader now. Mr. John informs Mr. Christos that he will decide what will happen. However Mr. Christos tells Chinag that he is leader now, and Chiang desperate tries to hold the line against the enemy.

The Year is 2162. It is time for the Scotireish election season to begin! Running this year are 8 parties, as well as assorted independants. The talking points are primarily the War, and the subsequent Agressor Trade ban, which polls indicate has been a crushing blow to the chances of the Liberal party, and has opened up this year to a highly uncertain political scene...

The Liberal Party forms the current Government, having won a strong majority last elections. They are staunch pacifists, and the primary movers behind the Neutrality Act and the Agressor Trade Ban. They are aligned to no power block, and have a strong following. They are the 1st of the big 3.

The Peoples Communist Party of Scotireland are the second of the big 3. They lean towards the comintern, although for most voters this is a secondary issue. They are against both the Neutrality Act and the Agressor Trade Ban, claiming that Scotireland is in no position to shut out the world.

The Scotireish Conservative Party is the last of the Big 3. They have proven ambivalent to the Neutrality Act, but have strongly protested against the Agressor Trade ban. Though leaning to no block, they make their case as much more free-market than the other large parties.

The first of the second tier parties is the Unionist Movement, who are primarily motivated by the union of the British Isles, and more importantly, the removal of all foreign influences. They have taken a harsh line against Siberian 'Imperialists' and voted against the Neutralitiy Act. The agressor Trade Ban has seen no really co-ordinated party approach.

The second second tier party is a block party, the Pactist Party. They argue in favour of Scotireland Joining the Warsaw Pact, pointing out that it is the most stable, and nearest of the power blocks. They are against both of the key Acts.

The remaining free parties are the Leagueists, the Greens, and the Greater Gaelic Front. None of these are expected to make much ground, holding perhaps 10% of the vote between them.

And there are the Key Parties of the 2162 Scotireish elections!

China will remain in its position, and it declares unconditional surrender. The army has order not to defend or engage in combat, all nukes will be shut down, and the air force will retreat to the capital. If you fire on us or use the army, you will find no resistance.
