asdfgh I should have requested SonicTheHedgehog now that I think about it. Or some shortening since it's 17 characters and you're only allowed 15(based on TK's name).
You can all still call me T-Fox but I adore this new name to bits.
Anywho, this is off-topic.
The limit on Industrial spending is lifted anew, now that Korea and its allies have made a recovery.
The sins of the father have become the sins of the son. With the death of the omnicidal maniac and infamous coward George I, Otto von Constantine has elected to confirm the hereditary tyranny of the Chinese Resistance Forces. We sincerely pray that stupidity is not genetic: even as the legions of the CRF and its treacherous allies march through Xinjiang, wantonly burning and pillaging all in their path, the usurper has the audacity to proclaim himself a prophet of peace. Be he so blind, that he cannot see? By forcing the government into exile, he has undone the first clear demonstration of Chinese democracy. Through violence, he has shattered any illusion that the CRF are committed to liberty, internationally or at home. As with his predecessors, he has made himself the laughingstock of the global community.
Evidently, Otto is not totally delusional. He confesses his own guilt through his insistence that the international community not involve itself. As with his forbear, the dictatorial Christos Xinjiang, he thinks labelling a humanitarian crisis an internal problem can preclude the worlds imperative to act. Why does he insist on limiting outside intervention? Would not the ethical action be free from such barriers? Surely a clear conscience would hold no reservations on international assistance! He knows that if his methods are scrutinized, they will be found devoid of any moral fibre. He knows that his unlawful grip on power can only be sustained by muting the opposition. He knows he is in the wrong, and now, wearing the same bloody shoes of those that pranced before him, he follows an identical path into despair and destruction while uttering the tired, feeble cries of a desperate despot trying to legitimize the unjust.
He dares to call this conflict a civil war. Pray tell, what is at all civil in casting out the constitutional government at the point of a sword? In what hallucinatory dream does a coalition of invaders headed by an ethnically and ideologically European individual constitute a domestic schism? The foreign invasion invited by former president George and confirmed by the late monarch-abdicate has been renewed, and already declares premature victory. But the Scarlet Lancers never slacken in their watch; as the oppressive lumberjack grinds his axe to fell the tree of liberty, we are once again summoned to protect China through all the means at our disposal. We pledged ourselves to the defence of democracy, and we shall see the will of the people restored.
We recognize that growing up within the atmosphere of irresponsibility, self-righteousness, and utter contempt for humanity that clings to the China Six like tar, a young and impressionable youth can be led to believe that hypocrisy and moral bankruptcy are somehow virtuous qualities. We note that of the original China Six, Otto is one of only two men who did not carry the blemish of a war criminal prior to last years events. Therefore, we grant him one last chance to redeem his reputation: end the war, restore Xinjiangs proper government, and surrender Christos, George and Chiang to face the justice they have so determinedly evaded. If you refuse these acts of contrition, you brand yourself a willing disciple of the ancien régime, and as such, an enemy of the cause of freedom.
When we formally began our struggle against Mr. Christos over two decades ago, we were acting in isolation. We were thought to be a regional phenomenon, and were aided marginally by powers seeking to use us for their own ends. Beyond the scope of China, we were dismissed as inconsequential. But as time passed and Xinjiang proved it can stand unshackled, we were duly recognized as an equal partner within the global community; now, we are a leader figure, the vanguard of emancipation, brandishing the banner of the free world. The CRF are nothing but an impediment to human advancement, and having defiled the precious pocket of Asia living unfettered and harmonious, they have galvanized all peoples on all continents into action.
The world has learned well from its mistake; never again shall it allow so impotent a caste to dismantle the architecture of universal prosperity. Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas have locked arms, standing boldly and defiantly in the face of the immature brute whose monstrous appetite again cannibalizes the Chinese people. The CRF thought they could bully their way back into power, but this time there are no bystanders to tacitly consent to its ill-gotten gains. The battle lines have been drawn: the armies of liberty stand poised to return the megalomaniacal hordes of the CRF to their proper place in the footnote of failure. As we rejected the hegemony of fear in 2165, so again we reject all attempts to drag humanity back into the black abyss of despotism, exploitation, division, and barbarity.
We will live free.
The world will live free.

The Central Committee officially announces the re-establishment of INTERPOL
The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) aims to facilitate co-operation between state police agencies to uphold law and security worldwide. We strive to provide police around the world with the tools and services necessary to function to the best of their ability. We enable global access to police data and information, and provide operational support on specific priority crime areas.
What We Are
A voluntary partnership. States may join INTERPOL on a purely elective basis, and are free to leave the organization at any time.
A communications nexus. INTERPOL provides police agencies with a central databank of relevant information. We offer member states a common forum to discuss and coordinate international crime-fighting strategies.
A UN associate. INTERPOL acts in accordance with the Union of Nations, and provides biennual reports to the General Assembly to assist states in developing security policy.
What We Are Not
A politically-motivated organization. INTERPOL adheres to full diplomatic neutrality, and will not intervene or otherwise act in a political, military, religious or racial character.
A legislative body. INTERPOL is not a lawmaker, and will work to the best of its ability within the limits of existing state laws.
A judiciary. Persons arrested are the responsibility of the state legal system or a UN-sanctioned international court.
Official INTERPOL membership comprises two tiers:
The Central Committee is responsible for gathering and processing national police and intelligence data relevant to the scope of its investigations, as well as the administrative duties of the organization. Prospective committee members are screened based on confidence in their ability to properly safeguard classified information.
States that have been declined a committee position, or do not aspire to one, may also opt for associate status to permit local investigations by INTERPOL agents. While associates do not have direct access to the central databank, they may submit requests for information, and will have priority access to domestically-relevant data.
Associates and non-member states may freely submit information to INTERPOL. For general inquiries, see the office in the Union of Nations. For inquiries of a sensitive nature, or to submit information to the databank over secure channels, contact any Central Committee representative.

Scarlet Lancers found North Atlantic Defence League
As volunteer fighters flock to take up arms against the Ottonian insurgents, the Scarlet Lancers have begun establishing regional subdivisions to organize the influx of partisans to its ranks. The North Atlantic Defence League will coordinate affiliates in Europe and North America, and provide strategic consultation with local states that have lent their support to the cause. Headed by retired generals and leading Lancer military officials, the Defence League has been described as a Western complement to the National Army, a military wing formed by officers defecting from the Kingdom of China in 2162.
Defence League Emblem
While employing a number of ex-officers hailing from countries across the board, none of the staff is known to be currently serving within national armed forces. That the Defence League is willing to publish the names of its members reflects a confidence in the Lancers international image as a legitimate global entity. Of note are three high-profile North American generals who have assumed leading roles within the chain of command:
Malcolm Granger
"General, youre no match for me; I own the skies!"
An expatriate American air force general who retired to Britain, Granger has always believed that air superiority provides a trickle-down effect to the ground forces, and therefore emphasizes air power above all other theatres. While his doctrine has been questioned following the invasion of India, he is nevertheless adept at shock-and-awe tactics and is renowned for securing highly mobile supply lines, a trait that will undoubtedly prove invaluable to the counterinsurgency. Grangers air force is at the bleeding edge of technological innovation, with fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft boasting advanced countermeasures suites in addition to augmented payloads. Having only recently resumed command, his wing is still rebuilding, but in one-on-one encounters his jets outclass same-generation fighters.
Alexis Alexander
"I rarely send in troops. But you deserve special attention, general!"
Specializing in defensive tactics and experimental weaponry, General Alexander prefers to strike from afar, whittling the enemy down through attrition before deploying ground forces, assuming there is anything left standing. Criticized for a lack of experience in both forward land operations and personal frontline combat, she is nevertheless a meticulous planner who can coordinate multiple theatres effectively and with devastating results. Alexander is capable of fortifying positions more securely than her colleagues, employing static artillery emplacements and advanced SSM/SAM EMP systems that are a nightmare for tanks and render her base its own no-fly zone.
Pinpoint Townes
"Its a whole new age of warfare, general, and its coming to your doorstep!"
A pioneer in laser- and particle-based weaponry surpassing the Coruscantis in efficiency, General Townes is respected for his strategic acumen, focusing on precision strikes and calculated use of force to achieve maximum battlefield success at minimum cost and incidental damage. Laser-based countermeasures are boasted to be capable of intercepting most conventional missile systems with startling reliability, and his expertise has contributed to the development of numerous strategic defence arrays. Working freelance, in recent years Townes has sought a suitable sponsor to reinstate his older sub-orbital and space-based weapons systems, having been set back decades by the collapse of every national space program.

Otto monarchy has made the world worse: poll
Just as China prepares to enter into the Italy-Russia Alliance, the pact members may want to rethink the wisdom of its admittance.
A recent Ipsos survey into popular attitudes toward the new administration paints a pessimistic picture of the kingdom's international image. The survey polled respondents on a number of issues, including their assessment of the monarchy's commitment to democracy and the rule of law, the UN's competence in handling the crisis, and how they felt the invasion of Xinjiang threatened state sovereignty and international stability.
The results leave no mistake: the majority of replies for every category were negative for the Kingdom of China.
50% of respondents believed their national sovereignty was critically threatened by the recent invasion. 25% felt marginally safer, and 12.5% were confident in their home security. However, on the question of international stability, 75% replied that the invasion was a pressing threat, compared to 12.5% that thought it was only a minor improvement.
Regarding respondents' confidence in Otto's claims to reform the kingdom, 87.5% did not believe China was committed to upholding democratic principles or international standards of justice. The remaining 12.5% did not respond, as they believed the government was illegitimate.
Conversely, when asked about the imperative to try the China Six for war crimes, 50% replied that there was an urgent need, compared to 37.5% that did not feel trials were an immediate concern. Crimes against humanity yielded similar responses, although the 50% for trials believed the charges to be even more important than those for war crimes. In both instances, 12.5% did not hold an opinion.
The respondents were highly critical of the UN's handling of the situation. 62.5% stated its current policy has failed to promote Asiatic stability or uphold international law, with 50% grading it as very poor or worse, whereas 12.5% believed it was doing a good job. 12.5% did not feel the UN had a comprehensive strategy, while another 12.5% did not have an opinion. In a general analysis, 87.5% expressed a lack of faith in the UN's competence over the issue.
The respondents replied unanimously that the crisis in China has had a cumulatively negative effect, with 75% replying that the global future is "absolutely worse".
The reputation of the current Chinese administration already suffers from its association with the Chinese Resistance Forces, an insurgent group widely regarded as terrorists descended from the maniacal George I monarchy. As leader of the CRF following George's death in 2173, Otto commanded the invasion that ousted the democratic Co-operative Federation of Xinjiang, an action that garnished near-universal condemnation by neighbour states and the rest of the world. With the international community expressing severe distrust of Otto's government, its recent accession into the IRA risks tarnishing the alliance's standing with the rest of the world.
Kane: Percival James Kane here with the head of state of the Demon Realm, the head of the Order government, the self-styled Demon Overlord, formerly known as Super Sonic, Iblis!
Iblis: No need for formalities, "Iblis" will do, Kane.
Kane: Uh, alright then! I'll keep that in mind. So, let us begin, shall we?
Kane fumbles through his papers, clearly in a state of disarray ever since his company imploded
Kane: Ah yes! The world is in a state of total uproar ever since you not only invaded Beijing, but have offered to sell your advanced chemical technology, which could be easily weaponised. How do you justify this to the world?
Iblis seems to roll his eyes - best he can given their swirly nature - at the first part, but smiles with glee at the second.
Iblis: Well, really? What's going to stop me? The Union of Nations is a complete and utter joke.
Iblis begins counting on his fingers.
Iblis: They didn't do anything after my (rightful mind you) annexation of Beijing. They didn't intervene to help Xinjiang. They didn't stop Italy after it took Egypt. They didn't stop Russia from conquering Poland. Heck, they didn't even do anything against the Boers. Going further back in time, they didn't even try to rein in China after it invaded its own allies - meaning my country.
The Iblis's fist notably seems to clench, his claws digging into the chair. He relaxes after a few moments.
While the sources are sketchy, it's known that in the past, when one nation invaded a tiny nation, he could expect the UN's predecessors to rally the world behind them and push them out. This current body is a complete and utter joke.
Whispers among the crowd. Some are booing, some are nodding in reluctant agreement.
Kane: Eh heh! Well umm. Next question - you've cornered the market for research, with reports stating you collect nearly one-third of your revenue from fees to conduct research for other nations! With such a tidy profit, what do you intend to do with it?
Iblis laughs, his sharp fangs rather noticeable.
Iblis: Well obviously, I'm using it to assist in building a deterrent - nothing says, "Don't attack me" like the fact ninety percent of your people can be killed in just a few moments. I also need to maintain the Demon Realm's status as the place with the world's highest standard of living, so economic investments - roads, schools, hospitals, torture chambers - all need to be subsidised extensively.
Kane: ...what was that last part?
The crowd heard that bit too. Nervous whispers.
Iblis: Nothing important!
Kane: Uhh. IRA has recently expanded to include the controversial nation of China. What are your thoughts on it?
Iblis' eyes narrow with anger.
Iblis: Personally, I'm an "associate" of IRA. Therefore, I don't consider them an ally. Furthermore, since China wasn't party to my earlier talks of associate status, I have no need to provide them with our research capabilities. As controversial as the issue has been, we are not giving aid and comfort to the Chinese; we still remember their swift, brutal invasion of the DR ages ago. To this day, we have not decided which Devil is bigger - Australia or China.
Though to expand on the topic, IRA is a pact of warmongers. Except for the Papal States, all of those involved have extinguished the independence of at least one nation.
Why am I so blunt you may ask?
Iblis turns towards the camera, pointing.
Quite frankly, what are YOU going to do about it, world?
Nervous laughters and whispers all around.
Kane: Well! Let's see here... you are known for your penchant for chemical and biological weapons over fission, fusion, or other weapons of mass destruction. Why is this precisely?
Iblis opens his mouth to say one thing, but quickly shifts gears to something else.
Iblis: That's an easy one, Kane. In my youth, I was obsessed with destruction. But then I learned that dragging out death and making it painful is much more satisfying. So I naturally took an affinity to biological and chemical weapons. Vaporisation is much too merciful - it's much better to inflict diseases that make blood leak from one's pores. Have you seen Ebola? That stuff is sweet!
Crowd is silent. Iblis smirks.
Kane: ...
Well. Your state has been described as one of the most brutal dictatorships known to man - even using blood as currency - yet also enjoys the highest standard of living ironically. How do you explain all this?
Iblis: Easy Kane. Blood's in everything more or less. Just smack them into an industrial-sized orange squeezer and bam, instant money. Everyone wins. Except for the crushed person. Sacrifices must be made.
Kane: But what about inflation?
Iblis: Hey I don't control the game mechanics I just play with them.
Outbreak of laughter.
Kane: This has certainly been enlightening! Thank you for coming Overlord Iblis! I'd shake your hand but you crushed it the last time I did...
Kane shows his shriveled up left hand
We hope you'll be able to visit us again sometime!
Iblis: Oh, don't worry. I'll kill you all quickly as thanks.
Nervous laughter. Transmission over.
===War on the NGOs?===
Italy and Russia have agreed to a new program of security measures. They have also agreed to begin pooling their intelligence resources, both for their own interest and INTERPOL's.
Four major NGOs operate around the world in terrorist operations: the Scarlet Lancers, The Indian Government in Exile, the Templars, and PGE/REDSPYIA.
Of these, only the IGE has not been deemed a threat to global security by the Concordat of Minsk.
REDSPYIA - enemy of Russia.
Templars - Destroyed the 501st and could do the same to IRA; has designs on the Middle East
Scarlet Lancers - an anti-dictatorial, anti-WMD regime, inherently detrimental to the security of IRA.
The Iblis has been contacted but has yet to respond; the Papacy is beseeched to begin cleansing its lands and that of its clients as well. With 1/3 of the world's nations and 35% of its land under IRA control, it is very probable to dent any and all terrorist factions.
"Simply putting Poland out of its misery was - the state was crippled and broken beyond repair. The survivors, few they are, will live much better lives under a united Russia."
Da, we have. The Russian Empire saw an opportunity to demonstrate its rise to the ranks of the major powers, and took it, comrade. The Polish people, furthermore, were unable to secure their future as an independent nation-state.

As a result of the 2175 elections, Finland has come under new leadership. The new Premier has rebuked the isolationiosm that has pervaded Finland's policy ever since the formation of a democratic Finland. While the prior government did experiment with global alliances via the Socialist Alliance, the new Premier feels that as IRA encircles Finland, a change in approach is necessary.
The new Finnish state has sought ascendance to the Comintern, citing that the defensive nature of the alliance will not conflict with the Finnish belief that each state should choose its own government consensually.
To add incentive to its membership, it has seized the alliance of several Comintern states and neutral states as well.
India
Cuba
Colombia
Ceylon
Bolivia
Italy has also decided to compete for India and Ceylon; their checks bounce though so Finland gets all five.
"Capitalism has reached its natural fruition: oligarchy and undiluted imperialism. We must stand ready to protect the dignity of the workers, nay, all human beings, against the excesses of bourgeiose greed." - Finnish Premier Juho Kallio

An unwise decision, but I am sure peaceful relations will continue, so long as Finland remains pacific and refrains from harbouring any forces that seek harm, or engage in acts of agression against members of the IRA.
