General search for bases. Standard terminations. 189/1711 provinces, so a sizeable number of provinces would be vaporised.

Major Foreign Policy Actions

Mexico has 5944 gold.

Despite that, however, combined Confederate and 501st air wings would bring massive losses upon the Mexicans, crushing them and enabling their swift annexation. Alaska would also be smashed, leaving the 501st triumphant after a bloody, brutal civil war.

Russia Goes Ballistic (Literally)

Backed in a corner and without recourse, Russia makes its peace with God and goes off the deep end, firing several warheads at its enemies - Finland, the USSR, and Mongola. 1020 Rocketry is distributed across 1 T1, 1 T2, 6 T4 Nukes; 1 T1 and 1 T2 Chemical Warhead; 2 T1 and 1 T6 PB.

Mongola uses half its Rocketry to fire back at Russia. It is hit by all the missiles; 10 of Mongola's hit back. The exchange wipes out Angola. 13 provinces perish on Mongola's side.

All 2.61 million Angolans die. The fallout kills 11 Siberians, 11 Demons, and 11 Chinese.

China is hit as collateral, losing a city. 73 Chinese air wings and and 20 armies. 400,000 Chinese civilians die in addition to the 346,000 soldiers.

3 T4 Nukes hit Finland; 1 T1 CW detonates. 50,000 Finns die in the wave of chemical warfare, and 15 provinces are destroyed. 320,000 Finns, 160,000 Italians, and 160,000 Papal subjects all die from fallout.

3 of them are cities, including the capital, plunging Finland into chaos. 2.14 million people die. Finland is reduced to 1/3 of its former economic power. 154,000 soldiers die as well.

The USSR has no missile shield to speak of, so finds itself struck with a nuke in each of its cities, wiping out 75% of its economy and killing 1 million people. The fallout kills 20,000 more Soviets.

Russia pays the price for its democide, however; the 10 Mongolan missiles kill 1.53 million Russians. 170,000 soldiers perish.

While the 501st Civil War has drawn to a close, it has been heralded by far more ominous events overseas. The Kongo has broken in two as the result of Templar interference, while in Europe, Russia has killed millions in the course of only a few hours as Soviet armies closed in.

Elsewhere, GUNS launched a surprise attack on Chile, rapidly annexing the country and its wealth and resources. As such, it now is the global economic power, with 18.4% of the world's economy and 5.5% of the population under its wings. It is said GUNS has become a worthwhile successor to the British and American legacies of economic and military dominance.

As the lands from Poland's suicide bombing begin to clear up, will another bloody conflict erupt, or will humanity finally decide enough is enough and pursue peace? Will the GUNS regime be reasoned with for the sake of justice and peace, or will it plunge the world into its deadliest war ever seen?

Time will tell.

As this is the last update, folks, all the other little bits have been skipped. It has been a privilege serving as your GM for these last fifteen turns and two-three months. May MP2 build upon the best and trim the worst of this.

Curious if your allies were loyal or were playing both sides? Just a few snippets from across the game:

-Turns I-IV-

To stave off the collapse of the Xinjiang Regime, Oz was investing 10% of its income each turn into Xinjiang, building more agents for it and increasing their espionage tech.

Oz stole that huge sum of money from India, but this was before their alliance.

-Turn V-

Logically nearly all Comintern League members were stealing plans or inciting revolts in Xinjiang. And funding the Lancers.

Angola was logically sending groups of one agent to stage coups.

Crusaders were habitually stealing tech from Oz.

India was regularly inciting revolts in China even once allied.

Oz launched that massive theft, and faked a theft against itself. NPC abuse, or players simply neglecting their defenses? You decide.

-Turn VI-

Korea attempted to steal from the DR despite being bankrupt, thus leaving itself almost entirely vulnerable to spy spam

Oz, now under mayor's stewardship, continued to rain havoc, staging coups and thefts against the League and doing all in its power to weaken its clients.

India tricked China into invading DR by promising not to intervene. DR was warned beforehand but did not amass defenses. India had plans to become the hyperpower by destroying China and claiming its vast resources.

-Turn VII-

Hawai'i armed the Lancers with their nukes.

The nations of the world - the League particularly - conspired to hit China's agents, so as to weaken them for the Lancers' bombings.

Italy bankrupted the Congo so as to hurt the League.

-Turn VIII-

Italy launched the attempt to bankrupt the Crusaders.

Venezuela attempted to bankrupt the French.

-Turn IX-

Italy send a huge swarm of spies against Angola and the Crusaders.

Turn XI

Italy dismantled the Papal empire in Italy and also bankrupted Sicily in an attempt to weaken the Pope.

The 501st shut down the Comintern SDI.

Turn XII/XIII/XIV

Italy targeted Holland to ruin the PUB economy

Venice targeted the Papacy and China.

Coruscant targeted China.

Chile targeted the Papacy's SDI.

Coruscant was the main backer of the Templars, sending them large amounts of money and also allowing them to set up ALL their bases in their territory, safe from searches.
 
You forgot to say, in case somebody still wondered, that I was responsible for Korea's suitcasing.
Oz would have been next, but with revolts in Indochina so to restore Indian sovereignty over the zone.

I would have closed the espionage gap in one turn and still had enough left over to make the toughest missile sheild on the planet! :D I was plannning to borrow enough that I could spend about 35,000 on espionage, 10,000 on Rocketry, and another few thousand on miscellanious tech and troops. After all, it's hardly paranoia to expect several people would try and bring me down this turn... :p

I think at 148 warheads I can safely say I had the largest missile arsenal on the planet. And I think that telling the world that I would have invaded the ENTIRE UN this turn kinda kills any hopes of there being peace. Although it appears that my attempt to piggy-back on Venice's attacks and steal a ton from the Papacy has gone unnoticed.

Good thing too HJ, I had an arsenal of PB's as a "just in case" piece of insurance.

On other matters, Im surprised to see how filled with intrigue everyone was, I mean stealing from each other, secretly funding rebellions, attempting to bankrupt people. None of that from the papal states.
 
Well you did try to coup back all of Italy's clients before the alliance became final but that's not really anymore evil than Oz stealing from India since India and Oz were not yet allies!
 
Couping back is quite a different scenario though. I was merely trying to restore the legitimate regimes of my client states ;)
