The nations civs that you want for the next expansion of civ4

I would include: Israel, Poland, Brazil, Hungary and Cuba.

And well i have lived in spain some years and if this civ 4 people are brave enough to add Franco (geographically incorrect) as prime minister of 'Iberia' a guy who is almost proibited to talk about in Spain, and which a offensive name is 'Facha' (from facist), Mussolini and Stalin, why dont u add hitler? yes i know it is incomparable what Stalin etc and Hitler did it still has no sense.

This may sound as an argument to get Franco and the other guys out of the game, but is the contrary, add Hitler nothing will happen people.

And lets face it a 14 year old jew wont be offended if they see Hitler in a game, i would consider more offensive not to put it as if he never existed.

I'm not saying that someone is offended i am just daying that it makes no sense no to add Hitler if u already add some other dictators and stuff.

Huh? Franco's not in the game, at least, not the main game, nor was he in any previous incarnation of Civ to my knowledge.

thats not entirely true. Serbia was the highest population of the country but the others still had as equal power in Yugoslavia as Serbia did because Tito tried to make it so that everyone was equal.

Tito was more worried about his own legacy then the actual country which wasn't around for long enough to be a civ in the game. Serbia has been around since the 7th century.

Not that it matters to much since there wont be another expansion. The only way to get any new civ is mods.

Concerning the Serbian/Yugoslavian discussion...how about putting in Slavs as a civ and be done with it? As an ethnic group it pretty much covers all those nations.

I agree with more Latin America in the game. Mythical civs could be a nice touch. It would be fun to see what sort of UUs and UBs they would come up with.

Hey, lets add the Sikh Kingdom, because theres no historically Sikh nation in the game right now, and Sikhism can often play a large part

Ummm... how exactly can Sikhism play a large part in a game of Civ? Did you miss ladiesman's point (that there are, by my count,
  • 11 Christian civs (America, England, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, the Byzantines, Netherlands, Ethiopia, the HRE, and the Portuguese)
  • Three Islamic civs (Arabia, the Ottomans, Mali)
  • Three Buddhist/Confucian/Taoist civs (China, Japan, Korea)
  • Two Buddhist civs (Mongolia, the Khmer)
  • One Hindu civ (India)
  • 13 civs with other religions (Aztec, Egypt, Greece, Inca, Persia, Carthage, the Celts, the Vikings, the Zulus, Babylon, the Maya, Native America, and Sumer)
Yet there are no civilizations that had a Jewish majority at any time.

EDIT: @Figaro: Isn't Franco the Spanish leader in the North Africa scenario? For that matter, who's the Spanish leader in the WW2 scenario in BTS?

That is a great idea actually. I like it.:goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

Not to be offfensive or anything but do you even know what legacy means. Its something thats left behind and can be remembered. So im pretty sure that Tito's legacy was to keep the nation together and thats what he was worried about. But what do i know I've only made a documentary on Tito and have studdied him for a while as well as being born in one of the six countries that broke away from Yugoslavia.

I do know what legacy means. His concerns for the country centered around him being the ruler and that there be no other. And just because your from there doesn't make you automatically right either

Morroco has my vote.

also more focus on slavic nations. We also need emphasis on Africa.

Other than that, I think civs covered a got a good coverage of civilizations. They need to focus on more leaders.

By the way, I'm tired of . .. .. .. .. .es complaining about civilizations no one wants to play and have a very small piece of history.

I don't know who the fuccccckkk some of these civs many of you guys talk about. They arent important to the game. THATS RIGHT I SAID IT.

....

so...you mention Slavic nations and Morroco?

That would be a nice expansion (mod expansion?), "Civilization 4: Lost Kingdoms".

Of course, I don't think I could make a full list of "real" mythical civs (if that makes any sense....actual myths/legends, not just straight made up stuff.)

I've got....
*Atlantis (Minoan...I firmly beleive Atlantis IS the Minoan civ of Crete)
Leader - King Minos
UU - Don't know what to call it, but a replacement for the Galley, capable of carrying specialist units over ocean (because Atlantis seemed far-reaching culturally)
UB - Beacon (replaces Lighthouse, improved sea tile production)

*Troy
Leader - Hector
UU - Champion (replaces Swordsman, starts with....some promotion...)
UB - High Wall (replaces wall, better defense)

um...after that i'm kind of out, actually. Here's some quick ones I half assed...

*Rapa Nui (Easter Islanders)
Leader - Hotu Matu'a
UU - I dunno.
UB - Moai Statues (much like the Egyptians took over the Obelisk)

*Camelot
Leader - King Arthur
UU - Knight of the Round Table (replaces Knight, stronger, Leadership promotion)
UB - Some sort of castle?

I don't know any Asian ones, I wonder if there's native american ones i'm not thinking of?

Personally Id like to see civ5 come out one day instead of them working on more expansions.

Anything with Brazilian Bikini in it and I am happy  (uh, weight restrictions of course are implied)!!!!

My hope is one more expansion in a year and then one to two years off before Civ 5 is released. Any sooner and it is not worthwhile for gamers to get.

Babylons and Sumerians are there.Where is their worst enemy?
Asurbanipal.Agressive&Organized
It would be fine.

Uh, thank you for helping me prove that the Jewish Religion was as important as Jenovah's Witness. I dont know how you are trying to contradict me

Oh no, not again! Not AGAIN!!!!! We already had this thread 4 times in one month and in EVERY THREAD we have Lastone36 saying lets have Austria, Vietnam and Poland and then SOMEONE cough*Saim cough will say Poland is not as great as Khazaria, Bulgaria, Nuclearmonkeyland etc etc

And then there will be a 8 page long fight!! OH GOD IM SO SICK OF IT!!

But since its here I want Morroco to be in

Your lucky this thread went 4 pages without me...

Anything but Poland

...

I hope they add Adolf Hitler to the Germany civilization, without him the game is so boooring :/

If they did so, then the game would be banned in Germany.

I think that Hitler should be included in the game as the polish leader; this way we would unify two pointless arguments into one thus saving bandwith for the forums. Even better, eliminate every other leaders and make Hitler the only available leader in game. This way you would play with Hitler the American, Hitler the Chinese, Hitler the Holy roman Emperor, etc.

NO

Not sure if we need any more new civs, but I reckon they could really fix up that WW2 scenario by removing poland

Then they'd have to remove france to. Both impacted the war at the same level.

Concerning the Serbian/Yugoslavian discussion...how about putting in Slavs as a civ and be done with it? As an ethnic group it pretty much covers all those nations.

Ok let's take away England, America, Germany, Dutch, Vikings and put in Germanic Civ. Let's take away France, Rome, Spain, Portugal and add Latin civ. This is extremely ignorant western view of slavic nations. We are the most numerous people in Europe and we have the least civs in the game representing us, with only 1. Russia. And many slavs are still "sensitive" To the whole situation of the last 100 years with Russia, the Soviets and Communism.

If they did so, then the game would be banned in Germany.

I love Germany. It's so ironic it's delightful.

Is it just, ingrained into the German genetic code that they have to be controlling?

I think Family Guy got it right, when they were on a tour in Germany and they jumped right over WW2......"NOTHING HAPPENED. EVERYONE WAS ON VACATION. SEIG HEIL!!!"
