I was on about turn 630 in a marathon game, and since the patch, lag between turns for me has been reduced like it was on turn one!! I do not have the deluxe version.
That is fantastic news if it's true for all of us.

I don't know if the patch itself is responsible, but two additional options popped up on the play the game menu -- one for the soundtrack, and one for a "making of" video.![]()
I got squares! Ahhh it takes me back to the good ol' days

Haha, so the patch granted you the Deluxe Edition? Congrats![]()
I've seen this before in my games many times. I doubt this has anything to do with the patch.

First thing I noticed that wasn't documented is the luxury resources being worth less. Would go for 300 gold pre-patch and now it's barely 150. Also I can't seem to 1:1 trade with any AI, they all want 2 resources for 1 of theirs.
There better be another patch forthcoming within 24 hours for this oversight. How could something this severe not get tested?
Steam auto-updated and now Civ crashes when I load a saved game. Not amused![]()
Collector's edition?
Is it confirmed that only collector's edition legacy saves are having issues loading?
I loaded up a save from a large map in the late-game and it crashed before I even pressed end turn, so I would not get my hopes up too quickly.
Do you know how many patches Super Mario Galaxy got, ZERO, because it was perfect on launch date.
I just patched and noticed one thing not in the patch notes (I think). You can actually view a conquered city before choosing whether to annex or puppet it. A definitely welcome feature.
