The next Thunderfall

I don't know much about how websites and forums are run, so I have a question that I've been thinking about. When TF becomes unable to administrate the forums for a long period of time, or permanently, can he give administrative status to another user? What if something unexpected happens, and he doesn’t have time to warn anybody or “pass the torch” to someone else? I hope that that never happens, but what if it does?

I doubt CFC would survive Thunderfall losing interest. This place is his. Anyone else who tried to run it would do it differently, and it wouldn't be the same place. The people who post here because they like CFC the way it is would go somewhere else.
