My comment about the pop-ups:

If you are using the internet a good deal, esp. if connected with DSL or Cable or T-1 or andy full time connection, you should be running some sort of protection software, even if you have to go out and buy it.

That said, any modern software taht can protect your computer should also be able to filter out pop-up HTML before it reaches your browser. For the clever sites that imbed unusual pop up source code, you should be able to exclude ANY pop up Java or Java Script by site source. This is what At Guard 3.11 does, and it is 2 years old (they were bought by Syamntec).

If you really hate pop ups, just turn off the Java Script in Netscape or IE.

For those who care (those should be the only ones reading this thread anyway ) --

I haven't even dropped in for about 2-3 weeks now just due to life busy-ness (which, I've just learned, looks like "business" if you try to make it all one word ... interesting ...).

I'm also leaving for our American ONE WEEK vacation tomorrow (need that 2nd week to take off around Christmas/New Years time). Thought I'd drop in long enough to say "bye" and "see ya sometime after I get back (and catch up on all the work I missed the week I was gone)".
