Some may think I'm already gone, as little as I've posted lately, but I am actually going out of town for a few days on a mini-vacation. Life has gotten very hectic on the home front, both at home and at work, so you may not even know when I get back if I don't have much time to post. Rest assured I've been trying to at least lurk when I can to keep up, just don't always have time to post.

I don't really know what's going to happen now. First a mate of mine dies trying to climb Everest, and now my best mate gets killed. I'm going to go away up the country for a few days after the funeral on Monday to try and get alright again, but I dunno. I really can't rationalize or anything at the moment, as this most recent event has basically blown me away.
I do hope to be back, and I most probably will be, but I can't say when. This death of my best mate has really ****ed me up, and its going to take time before I can even face anyone again really. I'm just drained and in shock, and havn't slept for four days.

It does one good to spend time communing with the light of the Shaka that exists within each one of us. It may be harder to find deep within the folds of the Hippo heart, but rest assured it is still there, my ponderous friend.

I'm off on Saturday to "holiday" with the in-laws back in Poland for two weeks. My wife is already climbing the walls (she hasn't been back in 6 years), and driving both me and the cat crazy.

I will be back on 15. Sept, though I can't gurantee my sanity will be intact.

Actually, I get along great with my father-in-law. He's the type of guy whose just happy with a beer and good company, and the sisters-in-law are pretty manageable too - but the mother-in-law is the unknown variable here. I love my wife to death, but the convergence of her whole family in one place for two weeks seriously disturbs the universe's basic philosophical (and probably structural) balance.

Pray for me, to whatever god you subscribe....

Just out of curiousity, who really cares if I leave anyway? I don't expect anyone should, so I don't see why A of A made a big deal like I was.

Iroquois got it right, he shouldn't have posted that in this thread, it was just provacation, and he knew it.

As for going to heads, your even more confused then normal, Xeven, dealing with this is no fun at all. I would be perfectly happy if I never had to say anything to anyone as far as moderating goes. It's people who consistantly cause problems that bring all this nonsense out.

I would hope that vetern posters would obey the rules, but they seem to cause the most problems, just like this.

No more complaints in the OT.
They will be deleted without comment.
Post all such complaints in the feedback, and no more spamming of this thread.
