Here, we'll propose and plan Select/Order sounds for new Civs. I've gotten some source materials from Firaxis to share. I've also put in a list of Civs that need Select/Order sounds, followed by possible languages or dialects to use. In bold are the ones that have translated text but need to be recorded. In italics are those that are the same language as some Firaxis-made sounds but need slightly different wording due to dialectal phenomenons such as Argentinean Spanish's voseo or Brazilian Portuguese's tendency use ter instead of haver and to put the object pronoun before the verb.

Civ List

Yes, there are. It's one on the mods out there. You just have to look for it.

No idea if they are in Amra's mod, they definitely are in mine and they originally are from Esnaz's Israel civ (at least that is where I got them from).

As a Hebrew speaker I must approve that this is indeed Hebrew. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't sound natural. But you can still understand what they say (the same sentences as the other civs of course).
If you want to know what they say I can tell you.
Also I have made Ukrainian select/order sounds, so if somebody is interested I'll post them!

Actually... the Hebrew not sounding natural makes sense. The Arabic used in Civ doesn't make sense either from what I heard.

Igor, go ahead and post those Ukranian sounds! That's excellent that you did that!

The Arabic was made by the guys who made the game and maybe they recorded it themselves, but I thought that Hebrew was made by people who actually know the language since it is a MOD...
Anyway, I think I'll re-record those Ukrainian sounds and post them. If you want I can record new Hebrew sounds which will sound more realistic.
P.S. I do have to say that the Russian in the game sounds like it is spoken by a real Russian-speaker, so I have no complaints about the languages I know.

Only a thought: instead of only list complete unit order / select sounds, you could also link them. I could upload the hungarian sounds seperately for you (I think that is okay for the original maker) and send you the link via pm. Then you could update the first post with it. If others would do the same we could have a nice resource for modders this way. Interested?

Sure, that's great.

Yeah, sure.

OK, here are the Ukrainian and Hebrew sounds.
This what they say:
The Ukrainians are just a translation of what the Russians say (I translated them with Babylon and corrected whatever it gave me with my own knowledge, so if anybody knows Ukrainian and sees (or maybe hears) a mistake let me know).

I'm wondering...

Does anyone live near an Indian reservation? Perhaps that could be of some help with the Native American civilizations. (Apache and Cherokee)

Althrough, I would be happy to change the russian sounds, because sometimes thay sound just strange, the guy says plenty of words that he can pass in a current situation:

Order 000- "Kak vy pozhelayete."
Order 001- "Vyhodim!"
Order 002- "Yest'."
Order 003- "Budet sdelano."
Order 004- "Nikakih problem."
Order 005- "Vypolnyayem"
Order 006- "Tak tochno."
Order 007-"Budet ispolneno!"
Order 008-"Vperyod!"
Order 009-"Mozhete na nas raschityvat'."

Select 000-"K neseniyu sluzhby gotov."
Select 001-"Prikazyvayte."
Select 002-"Skazhite mne nado delat'."
Select 003-"Zhu vashih prikazov."
Select 004-"Gotov k vypolneniyu zadaniya!"
Select 005-"Kakoy u nas plan?"
Select 006-"Da?"
Select 007- "Vashi prikazy?"
Select 008- "Chto trebuyetsa?"
Select 009- "Vse v stroyu, rashchet okonchen."
This is how more natural russian sound could be. Im not saying that Firaxis ones are terrible.

I added some text in Finnish. Is it all right?

I don't really agree with your suggestions. I think the Firaxis sounds are more natural and maybe more "civilian". After all, not all the units in civ are military units. It will sound stupid if a worker or a missionary will talk like a soldier.
