The "OMG! Look what happened!" Thread

You can do it in Vanilla Civ too...

I love it when I start with 1/3 of my historical goals completed.

Makes things much more convenient...

Wait a minute, who do they think they are,Jesus Christ!?

Probably a boat in that stack. I've seen it happen with my own units before.

You can see in the corner of the screen the units of the stack, no boats there.

Just started a game as Rome and look where Greece settled! Has anyone ever seen them do this?

I have not seen that. However that seems to be unfortunate. Considering you now have Rome, Medialonum, and this mystery city in close quarters, and an iron which you cannot improve.

In my Arabian game, I captured Cadiz and Madrid and capitulated Spain, and then asked them for they're iron, they refused and declared war on me! What where they thinking? "OK, OK, we'll become your vassal and accept whatever fate you choose for us, we will give you anything... except that!!!"

To Tibur: You can always Declare war on them right away and destroy the city in 2 turns. That way it won't flip to you. Also make sure you switch to slavery right away to not waste the first turn of not doing anything.

Yea I guess those of us with experience playing Arabia can tell of lots of funny stories about their "loyal" vassal Al-Andalus/Spain.

As Spain goes back and forth between Christianity and Islam when I request it to do so, their attitude towards me thus frequently changes every few turns turns from "We will never trade with our worst enemy!" furious to "Pleased" :crazyeye:

One word: Canusium.

Isn't Canusium a town in Southern Italy?

I.e. now that you have that city close to Venice, you just need Canusium which is superproductive with the Moai Statues.

oh, as the capital. Interesting it never occurred to me to use any other city except Rome as the capital.

Notice the capital:

My guess is that his original capital was captured and then re-captured leaving the "temporary capital" the capital for good.

If you've already won, then why are you still playing? To see nukes flying?
