Well you need workers to run a business. Even if you're self employed, you use tools that were created by companies that used workers. The guy who starts it has the great idea but he's nothing without the body of workers, as the body of workers is nothing without the mind. There really needs to be a mediator between the two, the heart and yes I'm well aware this was the central theme in Metropolis.
